The vocals are appauling, and I agree with the guitar comment...they only need two for sure.

the "screams" were terrible.
but yeah, they got through the song fine. I'm sure they're nice dudes and it's cool that they're doing well.

I've never really been a huge Hawthorne Heights fan, but with the Alternative Press cover piece on them that I read today and this performance, I've been pleasantly surprised. JT could have a little more emotion and movement when he plays/sings though...

So the news forum's gone to shit. This band doesn't deserve what they have, hell they don't even write songs that are that catchy. It's like one lyrical trainwreck after another, it's sad.

Am I the only person who thought this performance was extremely terrible?
The guys vocals were awful, both the lead vocalist and of course...the "screamer"
How can anyone say this band has a great live show? My God..

dear god, i cant believe im about defend HH but...lets be realistic, its not like Blink 182 had really indepth lyrics...
something something fuck a dog in the ass something
they get the job done, there good people, and lets be real, does it matter if they deserve it or not, there doing what they enjoy doing, let them be. And since when does catchy automatically equal good music?
Everything wrong with music, embodied in a single band. Seriously. Ne-yo is more relavant, more interesting, and more fun to listen to. Anyone heard his Ghsotface track?

you sir are a dumbass, if you removed your head from your ass for once second, you would be able to comprehend that i was only comparing the simplicity of thier lyrics....
now you can either go slit your wrist and black your eyes, or go fuck a dog in the ass...

I don't like Hawthorne Heights' vocals. Period.
But especially the "screams".
Oh man.
I listened to Sherwood's new song again before watching that and it just made me sick.

you took the words right out of my mouth... this vocals are damn near girlish, he has the energy of a fuckin sloth onstage, and the kid that screams doesnt even scream with passion... people need to learn from anthony green and scream like a real man... or even peter wentz for that matter, at least he doesnt look like a robot when he screams.

No, you weren't the only one. In Spanish, we would call that performance "horrible," which in English means "horrible." ;)
hahahahahhaah energy of a sloth on stage. priceless.

your absolutly right...you people who are whining about screaming and being horrible can go fucking kill yourselves, maybe that might rid the world of some stupidity...they are perhaps the best band i have ever heard, and i have seen them live and they are fucking awesome...i DID NOT however see the performance on conan, but seeing as though they are GOOD live in concert, i expect it was good, and blah blah blah if u thought they sounded horrible get your head out of your fucking ass and go buy their cd "if only you were lonely" its probably the best cd i own...mmk
