I have never seen anything more green
Than the grassy hills beneath our feet
And we walked until we met the stream
Where I learned that beauty is silencing
My heart like the cold rocks
Has been passed over by waters both rapid and calm
But when you finally decide to walk across
I'll have lived in love, and rediscovered loss
This is all I have so far. I was listening to Death Cab For Cutie's newest CD Plans when I started to write it, and I believe that influence is evident in the imagery. Comments?
