Taking Back Sunday (http://www.takingbacksunday.com) have posted a Myspace update on Matt's condition. You can read it below.
So thanks to everyone expressing concern about Matt. For those of you that don't live in London and weren't at Give It A Name on Sunday, Matt took one to the forehead from that mighty swinging microphone. He is doing okay and Adam made out with him to apologize. Adam always takes a good look around before he winds it up but Matt was tuning and wasn't looking up and you can figure it out from there...
He did go to the Emergency Room straight from the show to get stitches (around 6 but tell him we told you 53 cause it sounds way tougher) but he is a stud for powering through the set and only missing 1/2 a song due to "blood gushing out of his head" which is pretty rock if you ask us.
Don't forget to watch Conan tonight, you can look for the stitches, it'll be just like where's waldo!

I was there at Give It A Name and he looked pretty fucked after it. He didnt seem to be able to stand and had to lean on his amps.
But none the less glad to hear hes ok

As someone already mentioned, you can ask the same question about Nash. Everyone has their own definition of MVP, and this year the voters decided it did not mean "one man team". Sorry to burst your bubble.

haha please. First off, Kobe doesn't shoot that bad ever. He was 24-48 when he hit 81 points, and that's a fuckin great percentage. And don't call that ballhogging, cause if I have a teammate who is on fire that night and hitting pretty much everything, you give him the damn ball. Your coach will tell you to give him the ball, he was on fire and had to carry the Lakers on his back cause for the most part his supporting cast was inconsistent. And about all the ball hogging shit, you must not be watching the NBA playoffs, cause his points per game are down from the regular season while his assists per game are up and they are dominating.

Reminds of that other time a few years ago when he smashed John in the face. I believe Nolan earned a chipped tooth from the experience.
