This video is great -- I love Daryl's moves during the bridge. This album is love -- great vintage pop rock feel to it.

alright thanks guys, it looked a fuck lot like my ex girlfriends school, and i know they do a bunch of filming for tvshows and music videos and stuff there (the so co video for if you see jordan was filmed at her school) but i guess its not. cool vid though

I honestly think that was the best music video I have seen in a long time. Very funny, although Daryl kind of freaks me out the way he is always staring wide-eyed into the camera, especially at the end. I also think the video expresses the optimistic/idealistic dreams one can have when faced with a life change like graduation (the fat girl), the fact that you shouldn't judge people that you don't know (the goth/anarchist girl), and furthermore, the possibility that anything can happen (the gay guy, the nerd, the xhardxcorex dude). Oh yeah, and sluts always get their comeuppances. Ah, the wonders of youthful optimism.
Wow, so awesomely bad. Haha. Proof that record labels think we are stupid.

I guess I'm the only one who thought the song was bland. It had none of the tinges that made the first albums great. (No, i haven't heard anything but this off of the new album yet, so I can't judge the whole thing) Hopefully the rest of the album is better, but I'm going to wait to stream some more stuff before I buy. Color me disappointed.
Video was cool though, I really dug the wacky colors.

i remember seeing ha play this song live in august of last year... and it was sick, despite the scenesters surrounding me. i was fortunate enough to meet him after the show (it was a small venue) and asked him whether or not glassjaw was going to record again. being the humble and incredibly forthcoming guy he is, he said he wasn't sure, except that he was going forth with the head automatica project, and thought they had "something special going on." despite the commercial bent of this (no kidding, it's about that time), you've got to like it, although i do pang for the days of worship and tribute.

No, you're not alone. I loved the first album so damn much and I really hope that this one is even half as good. I just have a feeling that with the timing and the video with the right spin and the right people getting ahold of it that it could very well spell big success for HA.

Flawless song. The video didn't really sit well with me though. I would have thought Daryl was above this kind of thing.

i thought it was really good, and yes daryls eyes freaked me out too haha. But I'm still hopin for a little better from the rest of the album, i feel like there's been too many songs already written about high school stereotypes and overcoming them. The video was done well tho for an semioverused topic

That was pretty damn good. While I am patiently waiting for a new Glassjaw disc to grace my CD player, this might just have to do.
That said, can anybody download this video from anywhere? I'd LOVE it in my iPod.
Ha.net has it for download but it's an ASF file which won't play on your iPod unless you conver it or something.

I'm really genuinely surprised by how many people like this video. And, on top of that, how many people seem to like this song. And even on top of that, how people haven't made fun of that dude's really wack eye makeup.
