Well season 10 kicked off last thursday and I feel like it may be a season to watch. I haven't really seen any episodes before this, but there is something that looks promising (or at least will provide some quality entertainment). Kimbo Slice will be on the season of TUF, which could be very interesting both out of the ring and in the ring.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm a big UFC fan. I think Kimbo is gonna get his ass kicked. Should be a good season.

It'll just be interesting to see if he'll be able to develop better as a MMA fighter. That's what i'm looking for.

Honestly, I am hoping he ends up being great, mostly because I think a Lesnar/Kimbo fight would be cool.

I love Rampage's ridiculous commentary. He was pretty damn funny three seasons ago when he was up against Forrest, and it looks like this time he's just thrown all caution to the wind in terms of how much he wants to make the audience laugh when he speaks. The way the show started with him and Rashad talking shit was priceless.

As far as the fighters are concerned, seeing a hole in that dude's head was mildly disconcerting...but pretty damn cool at the same time. He did absolutely nothing during that fight, just let Madsen drop him like three times and had no defense for it.

And I fervently believe that Kimbo sucks.

You're right, not a single punch landed. He just couldn't defend himself, and Rampage left after the third takedown. Should be a very interesting season though. I just hate that the coaches fight has now been pushed back cause the drama between those two alone is worth the price of admission.

I think that he get fucked up in the head really early in the match, because he literally did NOTHING. He wouldn't listen to his couch at all and was just laying there taking all that shit. And yeah I hear you about the coaches fight. I guess the one good thing about that is that they will just slowly keep getting eachother more and more pissed off, thus making for a kick ass fight.

Rampage is a funny dude and has tons of charisma, but seeing him leave the UFC would definitely suck. Kimbo fights next week against "Big Country", should be interesting.

Yeah this would definitely suck. I like Rampage.

What are everyone's thoughts on Big Country? I don't think his fat ass will be able to move fast enough to get to Kimbo.

Nah. He is just new to the ground game, he got in late..and has a lot of learning to do.

Roy Nelson is a black belt under Renzo Gracie...which is a huge fucking accomplishment, and has beaten Frank Mir in a ju jitsu compeition...

It was a complete mismatch once it hit the ground.

Kimbo showed skill on the feet..and improved takedown defense from his previous fights..and has the right attitude to keep training and imrpoving.

that's because none of these guys are any good. the heavyweight division in MMA is not like the other exciting divisions where there is show talent across the board. HW is basically just a size advantage, you are in that cage if you are big. Half the dudes on this show have like less than 5 years MMA experience, what do you expect for fights.

Truth. John Madsen was impressive, but he's a champion wrestler so he had one goal and that was to take Abe down. I was curious to see what James could do last week, but neither dude had any conditioning and we were treated to a wheezing match in Round 2. And that Kimbo/Nelson fight was just strange. Any other referee would've called the fight before the first round ended if the dude getting pummeled wasn't responding. If Kimbo does come back as an eligible fighter, the pattern here in regards to what the show is trying to do is pretty obvious.

Finally...a really good fight. Kinda wish it had gone on longer, and Brendan looked like he was in trouble for a minute there, but the sign of a truly good fighter is that type of resiliency and stamina he displayed. Pretty sweet choke to end the match.

And as much as I get a kick out of Rampage and his antics, he came off like King Douche all episode. Leaving Demico with no coach to get him ready, then casting him aside because he was disappointed in how he lost? Rashad and his team were super classy to be there to help him up afterwards.

Damico looked tough on the ground and was using his elbows really well from halfguard...he just made a rookie mistake, and when Shaub locked on the choke..it was like Damico rolled into even worse. But it was a good fight. Id like to see him fight again on the finale.

And I am losing a lot of respect for Rampage from this show. He shows favoritism to some of his fighters, he's not there to help them...he's there for himself, he's rude to a lot of the competitors, and he doesn't show any support to his guys...

Rashad is a great coach though. Posiibly the best the show has seen so far.

I mean, he's as dumb as a box of tacks, but he seems like a nice guy.

Definitely have more respect for him now as well. He's got a long way to go as an MMA fighter, but his eagerness to get better is awesome.

I like Rampage as an entertainer/fighter. He's a funny dude and I'd say every episode, I have to rewind something he says cause it cracks me up. But he doesn't seem like the best coach.

But Rashad seems like a cool dude too.

Yeah, he always cracks me up. I loved when he was talking about Big Country.

Rashad seems cool, but also too cocky at times. I may just be a bit biased when it comes to the two of them though.

the door didn't stand a chance, got KO'd in 5 seconds. Rampage definitely controlled the fight and there should have been a ref stoppage. :-d
