i saw them when they played here at swayze's a month or so ago. there were like 10 people there, but they kicked a large amount of ass anyway.

The singer worked at the local Hollywood Video for a couple of years after their breakup.

ocean time is such a great song...there were actually a ton of good songs on "Wish You Were Her", too bad they never got to release it...but I wrote to them after they broke up and they gladly sent me a burned copy of the CD, a t-shirt, some stickers and a bunch of posters.

I just pre-ordered this c.d. and you get buttons, stickers, and a poster. I also have the unreleased cd and I put other songs on it that Showoff did, like the Madonna cover, and songs they did a long time ago

They did the same for me. I love this band. That album needs to see the light of day...Can't wait for them to get signed and put out a full length!

Turn out the lights and ocean time, waiting for you are my favs. "wishing you were her" was a great album. I can't descibe what it's like to hear ocean time again, i used to hold that song close to my heart and it makes me feel happy to hear it again. my persoal favorite is the s/t though. The s/t just had more of a straight up punk sound that I liked. These guys used to be my favorite band a couple years ago I was devastated when I heard they broke up. Glad to see them back! Showoff slays FME. I couldn't stand FME. I hope these guys tour the westcoast and tour with some bigger bands, it is about time showoff gets some recognition. can't wait for the full lenght!

My girlfriend also wrote them after their breakup and got a burned copy of "Wish You Were Her". She also got some VHS tape of what looks like home recordings of them, old shows, interviews, stuff like that. Good stuff!!

Wow, this totally came out of left field. Good to see them back at it, the new stuff is awesome. Anyone know when the EP is slated to hit the shelves(it said April 11th on their site but that's an old update)?

I bought The Holiday CD that they had for sale on their website, but the second half of the burned cd was messed up and wouldn't play.

I really hope that they have some songs on the new cd that are like stuff on the S/T. I really like song #10 on the s/t, and ralphie, man they are all good! I also got a AYA/Rodmans record on ebay and I love AYA's songs, i really like they way they sounded. I am glad that showoff is sticking to what they know best. These guys should really try to get on warped tour, that would be so cool.
