I saw the pilot for this a month ago when I was flying Jet Blue back to DC, and the Lion King part literally had me laughing out loud on a plane. It was a little awkward.

I've watched the pilot twice now and I think it should of been positioned as hour long comedy. All the scene kind of felt like they were cut short, and with a cast that large and well casted, it seems like they could of used the hour effectively.

Personally I don't think they should have canceled Samantha Who? and placed it in this timeslot. I'm sitcom junky, and until now all I've had is IASIP, HIMYM (which pretty much sucks now) and the Big Bang Theory on CBS to love, I'm so glad ABC came up with something better than Carpoolers. Modern Family fucking rocks, Cougar Town is unexpectedly good, and I enjoy The Middle even if its basically a Malcom in the Middle clone. Hanks' crap, but it ain't awful crap.

Hank just seems like filler. And have hope in HIMYM. Like LOST, it will have an end date because of the initial plot point. Middle is alright. I just enjoy it for The Janitor (I dont know his real name). but Modern Family is just fucking great.

Tonight absolutely fuckin' ruled. Norton w/ his accent, Banks playing an un-Banks like character ("You should kill that baby" hahahaha I died laughing). Cold open kicked ass, the whole Julie Bowen/Phil dynamic with her shitty gifts, the kids and Ed O'Neil, Gloria's singing to Lily.
