Epiphone Valve Senior Head

Has anyone tried it? I'm thinking of selling some gear to get it.



Will Guitar Center be carrying this at any point along the line? Or is it just a Sweetwater exclusive?

No one really knows much about them yet... Sweetwater says that Epiphone will finally start shipping them on 10/04, so I guess we'll hear some feedback soon. It looks like it should be a decent amp. I have a Valve Junior and I think it is a great value. I did a little bit of work on it, and now it sounds incredible.

I have a Valva Junior head/cab myself, but I'm too scared to mod it. I was thinking of trading that head in along with my old Epiphone Les Paul 100, and just paying the rest of the difference out of my pocket to get the Valve Senior head.

I can barely get any good tone from my Valve Junior... any clean I do get is horrible, and the distortion on it sounds really muddy. Think the intro to "Jukebox Breakdown" by Saves The Day.
