Anyone had a chance to play one? It looks incredible. I want one, if not for how it sounds than just for the amazing vintage look to it.

i played a red fender jag bass in the local music shop the other day...it blew my fucking mind! its got the best sound ive ever heard from a bass, and theres a buncha knobs and buttons on the scratchplate, which can make the sound more tinny/warm or whatever...im gonna buy it...

I'm not a big fan of the short-scale basses.

i know what you mean man..when i played a mustang at the music place...it had an awesome sound, but it was too small for me! so i just settled for a squire jazz....ive got a few more basses now...but ever since i played the jag bass...i need it!

That's the beauty of it.
It plays fast as shit and never strains your shoulders or back.
It's a great guitar to thrash around and it sounds great.
i guess it's personal preference, i've never liked a bass more than this guitar.

i played it. its a very nice bass. the tonal options rock because of the phase switches, and its really comfortable because of the offset waist, just like a jazz bass.
