Totally wasn't publicized at all because really, nobody gives a fuck about 97.3, but I was wondering if anyone was going to this:

The Now And Zen Festival. No big deal, really, but I'm a closet Dashboard Confessional fangirl and I'm willing to sit through Train's "Drops Of Jupiter" to catch their set.
The site is really vague and poorly designed, but I managed to get this from my sister who heard it on Radio Alice:
APPROX. SET TIMES:
Dashboard Confessional 12:10p-12:30p
Howie Day 12:50p-1:20p
Colbie Caillat 1:45p-2:30p
Train 3:00p-4:15p
It's this Sunday, September 27th, at the Sharon Field (basically where Outside Lands is) at Golden Gate Park.

Why is Dashboard the first band? They're the only one who's had more than 2 songs on the radio

If anyone goes they should definitely stay and check out Howie Day's set, especially if he's playing solo. Guy puts on a great great show.

Sadly, the other three are way more relevant and spun way more frequently on that station.

Colbie makes sense since I've heard her name in the past few months, let alone the past few years haha

Howie Day is sick.
Going to see him October 11th here in Boston, will be my 9th Howie concert. Heard the new CD yet? Has some good songs on it!

Really? I thought they were more college-radio friendly if anything, I never really thought of them as being mainstream.

I really wanted to go to this, but it was the same day as Dragon Boat Festival.
It was also the same day as that Cardboard Tube Fighting Competition, but that didn't stop me. Really, their set was barely 20 minutes long, not even an hour if you wanted to stick around and watch Howie Day dick around with a delay pedal and a looping machine and make every girl in the audience drop their undies.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how awesome his set was. Wish my camera didn't die, I wanted to film some of it.
Most depressing part, though: when he finally played "Collide" as his last song, everyone obviously cheered at the hit, of course. But when it came time for him to point the mic out at the couple-thousand person crowd, NOBODY KNEW THE CHORUS. It was probably the most uncomfortable thing I've ever witnessed, poor guy.
