Greg Graffin Helps Pen Book

Greg Graffin (Bad Religion) joins forces with Preston Jones (historian with a specialty in religion) by writing a book titled Is Belief in God Good, Bad or Irrelevant?. The book looks to hit shelves on July 30 (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=734&day=2006-7-30) from InterVarsity Press. I really dont get why people have such problems with band memebers doing something outside of the band. People get angry when a band memember particpates in politics, writing a book, or really anything else. They need to realize that these are just regular human beings who have different desires, the band can not encompass everything they are. Greg Graffin is clearly interested in this subject, so let him persue it in peace, regardless of what band he is in. People have taken this ownership of band music thing way to far.

IVPress is the publishing company for InterVarsity, which is an international evangelical Christian ministry to college students, staff, and faculty. I would assume he is providing the "other" side so to speak.
