The search function is broken, so I was unable to pull up my old thread. Basically, I'm looking for stuff along the lines of:

Between the Buried and Me
Black Dahlia Murder
Cynic
Goes Cube
Protest the Hero
Unearth
Return From Exile
Scar Symmetry
Veil of Maya
War of Ages

Let me know what you've found. I'm always eager for new tunes.

Hey dude, you should check out my band: www.myspace.com/coupdegracefl
we're kinda melodic, yet technical, play in drop b flat, and have some pretty nasty breakdowns. Lemme know what you think!

there used to be a band a few years ago that were marginally popular. Beyond The Citadel of Coup de Grace. anyone remember them?

it's so hard to get an original band name these days.

Not a big fan of them, tbh.

I could always use a roadtrip buddy for the BTBAM/Veil of Maya show in Jacksonville. Otherwise, Unearth is coming...that's about all I can think of

Yeah, I wish that BTBAM/Veil Of Maya was closer or else I would wanna go. When is Unearth coming and where is it going to be at?
The next show's I'm thinking about going to are this local one at a church and Underoath/ABR/Emery, but they're not until November.

I'll drive if you wanna go. I just hate driving by myself for that long.
Unearth is playing at State Theater, Nov 14

Not like I wouldn't want to, but I still live with my grandparents and they treat me like a little kid about stuff sometimes. My grandma would freak if I told her I was gonna ride to Jacksonville. That Unearth one sounds good though. Who's all playing that one other than them?

Haha, I'll try, but I probably won't be able to come up with one. That sounds friggin great, but I'll have to see.
Do you like The Faceless at all? I wanna go to Orlando at the beginning of December to see them, but probably won't though.

They've been on tour with Meshuggah and Cynic, but I don't know if you'll like them. This is the tour with them I'm talking about:

Zao

Brett Detar era was best... they had no bassist which changed the overall sound alot, but in a cool, interesting way. Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest is my fave Zao album, but they were always more awesome live than on album.

He's a better guitarist that given credit for. Most know him as a frontman (which he is ALSO awesome at being).
