Mostly because it's awesome watching their whole world crumble when a "yankee" team beats their Canuck heroes.

When Connely scored the 3rd goal with that deke (two actually), they made it seem like it was a fluke goal, the d-man blocked the first shot (aka Connely deked him, but they wouldn't admit that) then scored on the shot. 30 seconds later, a Senator went down the ice and barely made a move, and they were ready to suck him off because of it. HUUGE move, pff.

yeah, it's kinda ridiculous. but at least Don pointed out Meszaro's laziness before the overtime period started.

I'll actually disagree with that. The cbc announcers are great. They are the same towards any team in the league. Whether you believe me or not thats ok but it's been like this for the past 13 years that I can remember and tsn is the same way as well besides pierre macquire.

oh i like them a lot. i just think they can be very one-sided sometimes. and of course, they're no jeanerett and lorenz.

haha I don't know. I wished for a Philly win so I could go to game 5 last series, and they gave me two, so I'm afraid for what curve I've brought down on my boys.

i'm just throwing a scenario out. its sorta like if you have home ice advantage and got tickets for game 7 and your team can take it in game 6 but u want them to lose so it goes to that 7th game but at the same time your running the risk your team will lose in that game when they could have closed it out the previous game.

I have confidence in the Sabres. Miller is a better goalie than Emery - all we need to do is shoot at the guy.

7 goals on 23 shots tonight.

We've scored 23 goals in 6 games against him this season. 4, 2, 1, 5, 4 and 7 in chronological order.

I like our chances against Emery. He's the weakest link of the team, no matter how you spin it.

Pearl Street Bar & Grill has a pre-game buffet (usually pretty busy - you'll want to get there around 4:30 for a 7:00 game) that's supposedly DELICIOUS, and it's only a block or 2 away from the Arena.

Anywhere on Chippewa. If you're taking the subway, which it seems a lot of Leaf fans do, get off at .. fuck what stop is it.. I don't know if Theatre or LAfayette is closer, I ahven't been on the subway in a while.. but walk down Chippewa and there's a million bars. Or if you want food, go to the Pearl Street Bar and Grill , at 76 Pearl Street. It's prett ymuch right down the street from the arena.

Though I missed it, I think the Carolina-New Jersey game dethroned it because Carolina scored with 3 seconds left as opposed to 10. Plus the overtime was a little more anti-climactic. Ours was just like turnover, pass, shot, win.
