The getaway opened last night in the T.O. and were quite good i was surprised then after 4 songs they left the stage. the banner was changed and shortly after Less than jake took the stage. They rocked out by cursing a lot and blowing that saxophone hard.


then Good Charlotte took the stage after another banner change. they sang all songs off young and hopeless except emotionless and say anything they also did little things and "toronto worldwide". Boy did Benji and joel look good. although i was disappointed in the fact i've never seen them do "screamer" live they are still my favourite band.

New found glory came out not to long after and didn't play the story so far, the bastards! however they did do "glory of love" and "sonny" and many others. when called out for their encore they did a lively version of "my friends over you".

All in all NFG was the best.

mxpx isnt playing the east cost. i bought tickets to this show then found out they cancled the west cost and my friend told me they ARE playing the west cose 2 days after we see them. i was pissed but they are playing in georgia and im in nj so wtf am i gonna do? they are my favorite band it sucks that they cancled out on me like so

I saw the show at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa last night. The Disasters opened and I only saw two songs cause we got in late.

Then Less Than Jake came on and fuckin rocked! I mean absolutely kicked ass. They were the main reason I was there and it was the first time I ever saw and I was blown away. I was surrounded by teeny boppers for GC, but when that LTJ banner came rolling down about 25% of the 9,000 people there screamed! It was awesome to show that they were definetly the best band on the venue. They played all my fav songs, except Johnny Quest... and 9th At Pine.

Then GC came on and I experienced what its like to be surrounding by screaming 12 year old girls. There was some girl who was 16 in front me and kept shaking her ass the whole time....the only good part of GC's set. They really suck live, even when they played the songs that I like.

And say what you want about New Found Glory, but they kick ass live! They played almost all old stuff (Thank God), and it was funny how all the teeny boppers were lost when they played the old stuff like Hit Or Miss and Better Off Dead. The big treat was they played Ballad for the Lost Romantics my fav NFG song, and the last one I expected them to play. The 12-year-girls didn't know what song it was and it was so funny how they suddenly couldn't shout along with their hands formed into the rock on sign.

This was my first concert at a big venue and I loved it. Less Than Jake is the greatest live show ever.

Last night i saw less than jake, good charlotte, NFG. although i'd prefer to refer to it as the less than jake/nfg concert. although i'm not into pop punk, NFG was undeniably good in concert. i can't stand good charlotte, they seemed to bring in the swarms of 11 year olds. Less than Jake rocked the cocks. So rad, so much skanking, so many skank circles. we started a mighty fine chick pit as well during NFG:)

I went to the Hot Rod Circuit/LTJ/GC/NFG concert at the Hartford Civic Center on the 26th and it was the worst concert i have ever been to. HRC was great as usuall. The only problem was I wish they played more that 15 minutes and they could have played longer. LTJ came on and had the best preformance. They were probably one of the best bands i've seen live but it would of been better near the stage rather than in a civic center. I left during good charlotte cause I hate them but from the last 2 songs i saw them play, they were not very good. And NFG did not do to great. They were much better in their tour last fall. Everything was also very exspensive and they only had 2 hrc shirts.

Well if u want to know my opinion on the civic tour i think it sucked old balls. I saw the show in Dayton Ohio at the Hara Arena the best part of that show was Less Than Jake. Good Charlotte in my opinion is a bunch of ******s in a fuckin boy band there are about as punk as fuckin Neil Diamond

i saw gc & nfg in ct, and it was awesome! i remember seeing benji's pink hair backstage when they opened the doors, and i freaked out. it was the best concert i have been too before. nfg played really loud and they rocked. i was pissed cuz the next day some bitch made a review that said that nfg sucked. but it was an awesome concert

what's up guys and gals, just wanted to throw my two cents in about tonights DC show. Obviously as a lot of people have said, the opening bands (HRC and LTJ) basically stole the show, especially less than jake! holy shit haha, oh and how sweet was that t-shirt shooting gun thingy, very very sweet. I must confess that NFG kicked my ass, and i think it made my life to hear them play the glory of love! GC finished strong as they always do, and all of you out there can down talk them all you want, but you know what, sucks to be you. those guys are f*ckin solid, and yeah there were a lot of young girls there, but i mean better there than a backstreet boys show right! great show overall, i hope everyone enjoyed it as much as me and my buddies did!

Ballad for the Lost Romantics was the song I was hoping they play and they did, I was so shocked! That was the best song I've seen nfg do live, just because it's like "here's to the losers w/out love, and forget tomorrow we still rock"!!!! NFG set was amazing, I'm so glad they played so many old songs! Sadly I must say GC sucked. They played all their crappy songs from the new album, I mean I like Bloody valentine, anthem's so so, and on or two others, but their old stuff, man they need to go back to the way they used to play so bad! I saw GC in the Annex in Madison last november and they were SO much better. They played mainly old stuff and it rocked. But seriously NFG made up for GC's very weak TRL wannabe performance.

I seriously doubt they were "manufactured" I think that just the new material is lame. GC does know how to put on a good show. When I saw them at the annex (400 person club show) compared to the jam packed Civic tour, the small club show was great. They played 70% old stuff which in reality we know that's a much more sound cd. Benji and Joel's harmonizing IMO is awesome. I don't understand some of the song on TYATH, but oh well. I don't think they had any intention to hit it big w/younger viewers. I think that their second cd was so immature and what not that it just attracted those poppy crowds. I mean if you want in a sense, Lifestyls and the anthem are pretty "punk" if I may use that term. They did take a step back musically, but maybe after they run their course in the mainstream they'll get back to their roots. But yeah they still do put on a decent show, but civic tour wasn't great. I am seeing them again on July 6th in Milwaukee free this time but we'll see. I don't hate GC, I dislike where they took some of their music. Some of it's still good.

so i'm seeing this show next week in san jose, ca... because of everyone's raves about LTJ, i'm assuming that they're going to rock SJSU...wow the merch is hella expensive. 30 bucks for a band shirt? damn u, mtv. i don't kno who else is opening- mxpx, the movielife...? does anyone know? and another thing- to whoever posted the prices/people who know: they're selling non-GC & NFG stuff, right? and if so, am i going to have to buy a shirt before the ending of the show (so i dont get stuck with the x-x-x-x-x-large shirts when they sell out) or do they have have a lot of merchandise? Stretch Armstrong - 8 (Vocals werent as good as I expected)
MxPx - 9 (stretched out chick magnet for 10 minutes)
Good Charlotte - 9 (didn't play Season's, pissed me off)
New Found Glory - 8 (bad song choice, ran off and didnt sign anything after show)

Got there 5 hours before concert started
Came up 2nd Row from rails, center (coulda had end rail spot).
Moshpits were crazy- almost passed out.

LTJ- kicks ass ...great band - and always will be
GC - sucks ass...their old cd was really nothing special but some of the stuff on there was somewhat original and lyrically more appropriate for their age....new cd is worse musically and has no originality - lyrics are incredibly lame (they diss on the rich and famous yet that's exactly what they are)...it also pisses me off that they had to host mtv shows and be on tv all the time to get their name out instead of touring constantly and working like real bands do
NFG - they've been around for awhile now and their new stuff still impresses me....it's not as good as their old stuff but not too many bands get better as they get older imo...nfg kicks ass live and they work their asses off

I saw GC and NFG April 16th in Dayton, OH. Less Than Jake was awesome! GC sucked, NFG was awesome too. I met my dream guy at that concert. We still talk today. He was from KY.

sometimes i wonder if i've been hearing the same cds as the majority of you guys.....it seems the popular opinion is that old gc is better than the new disc, but that all seems backwards to me. the old cd was full of "wicky wicky wooha"s and "break it down"s and other filler lyrics. "little things" is the worst song they've ever written lyrically. i think they've gotten so much better. sure 'girls and boys' and 'the anthem' arent poetic genius, but they sat down to write fun songs and thats what they got. when they wrote 'little things', they were serious. they got popular because their songs are better now, and they could never make it big underground like the alkaline trio or nofx or mxpx and make a career like that; they've been outcasts from the start.

i saw the civic tour a couple months ago in maine. i found the youngsters to be extra entertainment when their parentals left. i told a group of little girls about how i "went bowling with benji last weekend". the little bastards believed everything i said. hrc didnt thrill me, and ltj actually didnt either. it was weird cuz ltj is usually awesome, but they didnt seem too into it. but i skanked with the usm frat boys nevertheless. gc is great live, so much energy and you can tell they really love what they're doing. nfg is just decent live, but they played the best set list out of all the bands. they played 'sucker' and 'never sometimes', the two songs i requested on their site, so i went home happy.
