hahaha
this is indeed huge though. The girl is now 45 and has requested that the case be thrown out...kind of amazing that they actually arrested

I could be wrong, but it doesn't much matter what she says anymore since he's already been convicted. He could request a pardon, but that's a long shot.

I think you're right. They might go all out and extradite him to the US and go about charging him, will be interesting

I think they'll send them to the US, and then the US will drop charges.

If they drop the charges, that will set a precedent. They can't let him just get away with it.

Won't set that much of a precedent. He has already been moving to have the case appealed, but they can't do anything until he comes back to the US. Until he gets it appealed, he is still wanted for the crime. So he got arrested, will probably be sent back, appear in court, and have the case thrown out due to the time, etc.

It's Hollywood/he's famous and, therefore, not much will really happen to him.

Good. Justice is blind, the case needs to be pursued even if the victim wants it over with.
Lets keep in mind he drugged and raped a thirteen year old.

agreed. even if the victim doesn't press charges, the US can. and for something so gross, they should.
