Which of these new side projects releases have the best debut material?

Isles & Glaciers (Chiodos, CinSun, Pierce the Veil,Emarosa, TREOS, Underminded)
Hunter (Moneen, Alexisonfire, The Abandoned Hearts Club, Haitian Knife Fight)
Greek Fire (Story of the Year, and others)
Discovery (Ra Ra Riot, Vampire Weekend)
A Rose By Any Other Name (The Chariot)
Rain Machine (TV on the Radio)

I'm not so sure.

I think most people who were anticipating that release are becoming fed up with waiting for it and the bands lack of communication with the fans.

(at least that's kinda how i feel.)

you're not alone. i talked to brian at warped tour last month and he said look for a release in a few months. i don't get it though, since they finished it in july

I don't listen to any of the bands that have formed these side projects, but if I had to pick one, it'd be Discovery. I heard Vampire Weekend is just nuts.

Yes.

Rain Machine is really good. Havent gotten around to listening to Discovery, although I like Vampire Weekend and Ra Ra Riot so I anticipate it being good. Not really interested in hearing any of the other ones honestly.

Adam Fisher and Goose from Fear Before, Dan Briggs from BTBAM, and some other people. Their album is going to be mindblowing. I guess it's space rock type stuff. If you mixed the more melodic moments of 'The Always Open Mouth' and 'Colors' together, Orbs sounds something like that. Their best stuff isn't even up on their myspace. They put out a 3 song sampler that I got for free at a Fear Before show and if anyone wants it uploaded I'd be glad to. Also, Adam is the lead guitarist in Fear Before but does vocals in Orbs, and Dan Briggs is BTBAM's bassist but does lead guitar in Orbs.
