TNA is coming to St Cloud October 10....totally going.
I have no idea if any of the old guys are going to be there because none of them were "Confirmed"
I want to see Sting, Angle, Foley, Booker, Steiner in addition to the new guys, of course.

MMA vs. Boxing is a true argument.
Not Pro Wrestling vs. MMA. Everyone knows Pro Wrestling isn't real....so the argument is boring and tired.
Besides, Pro Wrestlers destroy at MMA anyway.

I agree, I just want them to get someone entertaining and at least somewhat good at acting and write a decent storyline. WWE is making it really hard for me to watch it haha. More matches would be nice too. But look at the bright side, they got rid of Vicky Guerrero for the most part, she made me almost stop watching WWE completely haha. I wish ROH was on TV where I'm at. Yeah dude In some other forum i was saying the same thing... Last nights raw didn't even suck that bad either. I'm wondering which I'm gonna watch more, Bret Harts return or the 3 hour inaugeral monday night impact with hogan... either way the competition will be good for wrestling on monday nights. Fingers crossed they sign Jim Neidhart as well, considering his daughter is in the hart dynasty anyway and he says hes in great shape and wants to return.
There are probably few things that could recapture my love of pro wrestling. Bret Hart isn't quite on that level, but I will admit to having interest in seeing what storyline they cook up.

I don't get the station that smackdown is on... it pisses me off. And yeah the guest host idea was cool for a little while but then it definitely got played out. You can pretty much count on the host just ending up putting himself in the main event or just somehow knocking out a heel and getting a big pop from the crowd. How about they just write decent storylines instead of just having famous people who know nothing about wrestling come on to push their movie, videogame, whatever else. Very excited about the new Monday night wars to come because it'll force WWE to actually step up their game.

I wouldn't really consider it a war. TNA isn't that great of a company. The only huge person they have is Hogan but I doubt most would care seeing how Bret Hart is now back with the WWE(for a short time anyways).

TNA has better talent than the WWE if you ask me, just lack of personality. I think with a name as big as Hogan alot of people will see there's more to wrestling than the shit they've been putting on raw for years now, so we'll see haha.

I think Jeff Hardy decided to leave and they still want him back not sure though.
Found this Dana White interview about Vince pretty funny haha
-- Following this past weekend's UFC pay-per-view, President Dana White was asked about going head-to-head with RAW on 1/11, and how Vince McMahon has got Mike Tyson as the Guest Host for that night. White responded with the following:
"I mean we're not trying to go against him. That night is the night Spike wanted the fight. Spike wanted the fight that night, so that's the night they called for it and Vince goes into (expletive) war mode. He's calling up (Mike) Tyson. He's bringing this guy back and the Rock might come back. I love it. He's a (expletive) animal. You've never heard me say we're going to kick the (expletive) out of Monday Night Raw. You've never heard me say that. I think we're two totally different, pro wrestling is totally different than the UFC and mixed martial arts. And I respect this guy. I like Vince McMahon. I've had breakfast with him. He's a good guy, but he is a (expletive) animal. I'm not trying to beat him on Monday night. I don't think we would beat them. Those guys pull killer ratings. It's been like the highest rated show on television forever. We're just putting a fight on Monday night because Spike wants us to."

Sheamus is gonna be the next Brock Lesnar, bet your ass he's gonna carry that title to Mania, surviving the Chamber and all. The game plan as of now is Triple H/Sheamus for the WWE Title at Mania. Cena is expected to face either Batista or The Rock, if they can book him.
I honestly can't wait for tonight, it's only 3 hours away for what's already been 9 years!

Are you sure its not Emmure or something? I recall TNA promoting the HELL out of The Respect Issue when it was close to being released....hence Kurt Angle being on the cover.
I thought Jeff Hardy coming out on TNA was huge for them because I know he was one of the bigger merch sellers amongst the PG audience for the WWE. So I don't know what the WWE is going to do now, probably just use Cena even more to compensate.

You're insane, the only way I can understand this is if you're unfamiliar with the 1997 Montreal Screwjob. I've been waiting a long time to see Bret finally make amends with Shawn, although I could have done without Michaels doing the segment in his "hip" DX gear.
The problem with TNA's show last night is that we've seen Hogan and Flair for so long (and so many times recently) in the WWE that their appearances really was nothing relevant or special. The "nWo" is back...big deal, are they gonna start having various wrestlers join the stable each week like in WCW? And can someone tell me how the hell there are DQ finishes in cage matches like in the Steel Asylum match? Man I laughed pretty hard when the fans turned on the product within the first 15 minutes on live TV, after the DQ finish the whole entire place chanted "this is bullshit", and they were right, because it was.
Raw was perfect, it didn't go overboard with the dumb kiddie humor, there were actual matches that told stories/built rivalries, and the focus of Bret Hart being in the ring for the first time in 12 years really payed off in the end.
Don't worry, I'm not biased or anything because I do believe TNA has potential, it's just last night was the perfect time to initiate change and nothing really changed at all, looking at it from my point of view. The name needs to go, the 6 sided ring needs to go, all the overboard gimmick matches need to go, their champion needs to be a bigger part of their product (an argument I've been having about Sheamus for weeks now), and they have entirely too many titles (I for one will never consider the "legends title" to be a serious championship).

They're still trying to get Hardy back for Wrestlemania From what I can tell you, Hardy was only in Orlando as a guest of Shannon Moore's. Moore was the one in Orlando for "business" and since Hardy is technically a free agent, they used him for the sheer awe factor.

Yes, I absolutely want to watch them. And TNA will do pretty damn good I think. I'm very excited for this. Best part of last night? I got chills when Hogan and Hall/Waltman did the two sweet to each other haha.
Haha, I've yet to watch TNA I recorded it and turned it off after I saw the big red cage match end in dq. Watching guys try to climb out of that was painfully boring. Hogan will end up screwing TNA over just like he did to WCW

Jeff Hardy came out at the end of that big red cage, the crowd did nothing. Hardy beat on some dude and then climbed the red cage and sat on it. Only to go back stage and high five Shannon Moore, so if Hardy was there for Shannon Moore who got 3 seconds of tv time versus Hardy going out and jobbing with some squids, then I don't know.

Stone Cold kicked Sly Stallones ass
- During shooting for Steve Austin's new film The Expendables, The Daily Mail in the UK reports that Sylvester Stallone suffered a hairline fracture in his neck after a very realistic fight scene with Austin. Stallone needed to have emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck following the scene.
About the incident, Stallone had the following to say:
"Actually, my fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck. I'm not joking. I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards. I now have a metal plate in my neck."

Its because they can make decent money filming a shitty movie for three months and don't have to take any of the bumps they normally would when wrestling.
So more money, less pain = wrestlers willing to do movies.

Totally agree. If WWE would just drop that stupid PG rating, bring back a few chair shots and blood every now and then.. I'd be happy. America is trying too hard to shelter the young generation and it's backfiring.
MikeAL4W
01/05/10, 12:14 PM
Yeah I already agreed that WWE put on a better show. TNA could have done better but I'm still excited to see what comes of all the new (reallyold and wrinkly) faces over there. Also I believe they were planning on getting rid of the six0sided ring and I was kind of disappointed when I tuned in and saw it. I think the TNA is doing all the new gimmick matches because they're obviously trying to catch peoples attention by doing things they haven't seen on WWE programs.
I was also bullshit about the DQ being the result of that cage match. Also the camera work sucked horriblyfor that match, it was literally watching metal bars for 10 minutes.
And we all agree that the more Bret, the better.

Retailers are offering VHS and DVD copies for $29.95, but your friendly neighborhood P2P network is offering a full 56-minute version for free in the "1_Night_in_China - joanie laurer - chyna - sex tape" section. Don't say I didn't warn you. Following is a recap of the video that's parts comedy, horror and porn. Mostly horror.
00:16 — Chyna flexes her huge right thigh while wearing lingerie, telling X-Pac it's his last chance to choose her current white outfit or the black one. X-Pac chooses black. I choose to get some TUMS.
01:30 — Scenes from a bus on a vacation to Hong Kong. Clearly, this has been directed by the same man who did the Pam and Tommy Lee video. Include a bunch of inane shit, because no one's gonna spend $30 for a 6-minute tape.
02:00 — X-Pac looks at the shaking camera and says, "Yo, check it out, I'm the craziest mother fucker you'll ever meet in your entire life." No shit, man. Not only did you have sex with Chyna, you documented it.
02:09 — Standing in Tiananmen Square, X-Pac looks at a picture of Mao and says, "For everyone back home ... Chairman Mao, I got two words for ya: Suck it!" I got two words for that scene: broken rib (after I fell off my chair).
03:15 — Good god almighty! It's Chyna in a black dominatrix outfit, smoking a cigarette and fashioning a whipping belt. X-Pac says she's "sexier than a mother fucker." Mother fuckers must look like men.
08:30 — Close-up shot of Chyna and X-Pac kissing. I proceed to download every e-mail attachment I've ever gotten, in the hopes of finding a virus that will shut down my computer.
10:33 — Sex time. If Howard Cosell were alive today, he'd exclaim, "Down goes Chyna! Down goes Chyna! Down goes Chyna!"
15:35 — X-Pac reciprocates, and I wonder if he enjoys the way Triple H tastes.
[Fast forward ... fast forward ... my god, FAST FORWARD!]
26:25 — Chyna's high-heeled feet are wrapped around X-Pac's head. My arms are wrapped around my eyes.
29:53 — Back to touristy stuff, X-Pac stands before the Great Wall and says, "The hills are alive with the sounds of music." Doesn't sing it. Says it. Damn, another broken rib.
31:00 — X-Pac again walking the streets of China. Relevant to nothing. Apparently, there is a plot development here. Is Hulk Hogan gonna crash through a fish market?
31:35 — We now know that Chyna's penis is pierced. I make sure nothing is in the way between me and my toilet.
32:49 — X-Pac goes for a late-night snack, Chyna moans, and I again hit fast forward.
36:31 — Chyna puts Paris Hilton to shame with her oral skills. X-Pac says she/he's, "so fucking incredibly gorgeous." That she is. For a man.
37:15 — Chyna has pimples on her ass. You don't want to know how I'm aware of this.
[Fast forward ... fast forward ... my god, FAST FORWARD!]
43:20 — Chyna watches her mirrored image being pleasured from behind. X-Pac is holding a camera slightly smaller than one to be used at the Super Bowl. Looks like it weighs 140 pounds, and god knows why the shoulder strap is still affixed.
46:35 — Woman, if you're gonna shave, then shave! What's up with the 5 o'clock shadow?
51:20 — X-Pac's new finishing move is The Back Door Body Slam. I take another swig of beer, hoping not to puke it up.
55:40 — X-Pac's done. I can't describe it. I enjoy my readership and really hope you come back.
55:51 — X-Pac, again before the Great Wall, says, "I guess I've had as much of China as I can handle." You and me both, brother.
56:49 — Video ends.
56:50 — I delete file from my computer. Go straight to the shower.

Don't hold your breath. The Rock kept saying towards the end of last year that he wants to make a return, but when Vince tried to get him to host Raw next week (when they go head to head against UFC), he turned it down. So unless we're all being worked, don't count on it. I'd be safe betting my money on a Cena/Batista match since everyone else already has an opponent set up for Mania.

fter making his shocking return to TNA Wrestling at Monday night's live 3-hour iMPACT! special, Jeff Hardy has been dealt yet another legal setback.
Jeff Hardy's drug charges went to the grand jury yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina. A grand jury found that there is enough evidence to indict Hardy and the case has been sent to Superior Court, according to a spokesperson with the Moore County Court. The case will be officially set on their docket within the next week, according to PWInsider.com.
Hardy was arrested on September 11th, 2009 after police raided his home in Cameron, North Carolina. A joint investigation conducted by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to the search. According to the police report, a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jeff was set for a probable cause hearing later this month to determine wehther there was enough evidence to send the case to Superior Court, but it appears prosecutors opted to forgo that hearing and go right to the grand jury in order to move the case along.

Yeah I read somewhere he had a fucked up childhood and was pretty much homeless and went to jail a bunch when he was younger. He said if he didn't start wrestling hed probably be dead.

Impact is normally a 2 hour show, it was only 3 hours this week so they could cram in so much going on that everyone lost interest in it by the time Raw came on.

The latest issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch suggests that Booker T may return to WWE as a surprise entrant in this month's Royal Rumble match at the pay-per-view.Apparently the former World Heavyweight Champion has had discussions with WWE officials in recent weeks regarding a return to the company.
Ric Flair signed with TNA sucks I was hoping to see him on RAW as GM or something sometime
Ric Flair signed his deal with TNA just a few days before Monday’s live iMPACT. His deal is for 65 appearances over one year’s time. It’s believed Flair is working on a guaranteed money deal and is still able to book his own outside-TNA appearances. In an effort to get him on Monday’s show, word is that TNA offered Flair more money. TNA really wants Flair to be part of “the team” and be a face for the company. Some feel that Flair’s heart isn’t really in TNA and he’s more interested in the money than helping TNA succeed.
Lol whoever said that TNA theme music sounded like the entrance music from the old shitty games was right
- Don W. and Terry Chatham sent word that Hulk Hogan's new NWO inspired theme song in TNA is actually the theme song that all NWO members used in the WCW/NWO Thunder video game on the Playstation 1 console.

My emotion is mixed. The 4 sided ring was much needed but there was no space for any kind of high flying around the ring. Which if they don't change will snuff out the X Division for sure. The in ring style resembled old slow drawn out matches circa the 80's early 90's pretty much before spot wrestling became big. I gave it a C but thats because the booking wasn't on par with all the matches. However I loved the new set and the idea of an old school match because I think it's lame when everyone does big time moves from back in the day as regular moves. WWE needs to Axe the guest host idea. It sucks and WWE itself is boring sad to say but I get up for knock out matches more than I do some of their Mid-Card stuff.

Thoughts and Predictions after last night:
*I'm saying Shawn doesn't win the Rumble, instead he gets his match by screwing Taker out of the title in the weeks leading to Mania.
*Sheamus is slowly being built up as a monster, expect him to beat Orton within 5-10 minutes at the Rumble and carry the title all the way to Mania. The Elimination Chamber match next month is his ace in the hole, I think he'll overcome the odds and come out of that match looking like a monster, pinning Triple H. After that I'm saying Trips will chase the title leading up to a match between the two at Mania.
*Don't expect anyone from Raw to win the Rumble. it's been 3 years since a Smackdown wrestler won the Rumble, but it also makes more sense looking at it since we practically know the WWE Title match and I don't see Triple H taking that crown, especially after last night. My early prediction is that Edge returns as the number 30 entry, wins it, and challenges Chris Jericho next month after Jericho wins the World Title in the E.C. Match.
*Kofi Kingston is my early pick for winner of MITB
*Edge vs Jericho is going to be a $$$$$$$ feud

1. I also agree that Michaels wont win the rumble, and probably will face taker before and at mania, but I thought maybe a heel turn for HHH? Throwing Michaels out of the ring wasn't a popular move, but we'll see.
2. I thought they were done pushing Ortin for main events and shit so I also think Seamus will destroy his ass. They both suck. They'l have a whole 'we used to be best good friends now we hate each other' fued between seamus and HHH.
3+5. I would fucking love to see an Edge/Jericho fued.

Yeah I read that Cena is all effed up, but hes one of the 300 days a year guy so wont take off time to get surgery cuz he wants to wait to have the time to fully heal. But I'm also sure that we all read the same three websites so it's no new news to anyone haha. Anyway what do you think they'll do? wwe NEEEDS to realize a frequently pushed or often crowned world champion doesn't have to be full of muscles or tall as fuck. I loved When Jericho was a champion when EG and Benoit were champ shit even Angle was a littler guy. @ 5'9" based on ability alone I think Dragon could help carry WWE. Trust me TNA is two or three WWE mid-carders away (I don't mean bullshit pickups like Orlando Jordan) from really doing something I.E. Elijah Burke is really impressing me.
