Amplexus, a local band opened the show and they sounded pretty good. A nice opener.

The support who's name I forget wasn't any good.

The direct support was Empires. I feel like I've seen/read been rave about them but I don't see why - the singer was generic and the keyboard work was terrible. Maybe they just had an off night and part of it contributed to the lead singer clocking himself in the mouth with the microphone during the first song of their really short set?

The Dear Hunter headlined and went on a half-hour late and had to cut two songs (the encore) out of their set due to already going over curfew. The band had a better stage presence than I expected after seeing a live video on this very website. I thought they were going to be 'tense' and 'awkward' but that wasn't the case. Casey sounded good most of the night, talked to the crowd a bit and the band sounded pretty spot on from what I know.

No way that they played "The Lake South" and "The River North". You sure you're not getting that mixed up with "The Lake And The River"?
