I'm hearing really good things about [rec] 2, which is very surprising.

True, a large chunk of it is simply surveillance equipment.

As for REC2, as soon as the premise was confirmed, basically by saying that they were just extending the first movie, I knew it'd be good.

[rec] was awesome so I'm pretty excited for number two, and I think Paranormal Activity looks really cool as well (and is a concept that should have been done years ago).
