I adore Broadway Shows. I actually didn't enjoy Spelling Bee as much as I thought I would, though.
The last show I saw that I loved was The Wedding Singer. I saw it in previews a few weeks ago and thought it was just great. Stephen Lynch is amazing.

...how do you have Wicked or (broadway) Rent on DVD?
But yeah, I'm a HUGE Rent fan.

I'm gonna make a list of what I've seen, but I'm probably forgetting some:
Wicked
Avenue Q
Rent
Putnam County Spelling Bee
Sweeney Todd
Hairspray
Oklahoma!
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Saturday Night Fever
Cats
Beauty and the Beast
Les Miserables
Tarzan
Aida
Footloose
I really loved all of them except Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (too old for it), Aida (too young for it), and I didn't really enjoy Tarzan too much either.
I still need to see Young Frankenstein, Spamalot, The Little Mermaid, Jersey Boys, and Mamma Mia.

I've seen a few: Beauty and the Beast (singing was terrible), The History Boys, The Lion King (fan-fucking-tastic!) and The Producers. This summer I'm trying to see Avenue Q. I own the soundtrack and now it's time to see the actual damn thing.
How do you own them on DVD? I want one :-(

I just saw Rent again last Saturday and I'm debating whether to see it again before it closes in June. I'm also really interested in seeing Mamet's new show, November.

So true, well except for RENT. RENT is my all time favorite. I've seen it 11 times on Broadway and Wicked only 4 times. I'm planning a trip to NY to see RENT at least one more time before it closes.

I'm a big fan of musical theater; Man of La Mancha, Les Miserables, Wicked, Pippin, Jekyll And Hyde, and Seussical are among my favorites

I love movie musicals, but I'm too poor to buy tickets to their stage counterparts. All I've seen is Riverdance.

Have you seen Wicked on Broadway?
never seen a broadway show, just the broadway south tour shows they do down here. but after watching "spring awakening" here and then listening to the broadway version OST, the south cast completely outdid the broadway peeps, singing-wise. so much more passion.

I was hoping you'd have seen it on Broadway. There's a lottery 2 hours prior to every show for 26 front row tickets for $26 each. We always hit on the guy that runs it. :-p
PS-I won last time I entered haha,
