The Beautiful Life (of course you've never heard of it).

Late Friday -- one day after Nielsen sent word the audience for "the Beautiful Life: TBS" had fallen to under 1 million viewers in its second episode, CW sent out an announcement that it had yanked Ashton Kutcher's new supermodel soap from its schedule effective immediately -- earning it the distinction of becoming the 2009-10 TV season's first cancellation.

"Production has ceased on 'The Beautiful Life' in New York," CW said late Friday in an e-mail, surprising no one since it was a Take Out the Trash Day - you know, the Friday before a holiday weekend. (Yom Kippur is Monday).

Three Rivers.

First Three Rivers got rid of Julia Ormand (http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/06/12/three-rivers-making-changes/), then the pilot wasn't good enough so CBS decided to film a new version, and now that version doesn't seem to be good enough, so when the show debuts on October 4 we're going to see a later episode as the first episode. The pilot will now air as the second episode (http://community.post-gazette.com/blogs/tunedin/archive/2009/09/21/yet-another-change-to-three-rivers.aspx).

Cleveland had great ratings, fox already purchased two seasons, and they just gave that dope seth a $100 million contract....there is no way in hell Cleveland is going to be the next show to go.

Chances are its likely to be one of the new shows from NBC which seems ot be dead set on challenging CW in terms of ratings.

You've seen a pilot. Half of it was almost a Family Guy episode. You sound like you just sat through a 2 season marathon, but you've seen essentially 1/2 of an episode.

usually when i really like a show they cancel it... Pushing Daisies, The Riches, Carnivale. I'm scared to think what's next. I just hope it's not Glee. I can see them saying that it's way too expensive to produce (like they did with every show I mentioned previously).

oh and, The Cleveland Show only got good ratings because it was the first episode. I hope they cancel that piece of garbage. It's nowhere near as funny as Family Guy, but of course, it's cheap to produce because it's a cartoon. Iit will never die.

I enjoyed it to an extent but I honestly gave up on in sometime within the first season. And I really don't see Glee being canceled, but it is on Fox...

exactly, it was half of a family guy episode. it's the exact same show. the stupid teenage son and the wisecracking baby, 3 friends, etc etc. we don't need TWO family guys, i'd argue we don't even need one.

They won't cancel it. Basically even if it got horrendous ratings it's still way cheaper to produce than a show with real actors and sets. The network couldn't care less what the ratings do on it.

i think i read or heard somewhere that glee was renewed for another season already or a total of 22 episodes and i think it's doing pretty well so far. i really hope not either though, it's fantastic.

Modern Family and Cougar Town isn't really that bad, I can get into Modern Family I think
