The song "Valkyrie Missile" has been added to Angels And Airwaves (http://www.absolutepunk.net/angelsandairwaves)' MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/angelsandairwaves). Their new album, We Don't Need To Whisper, will hit stores on May 23rd (http://absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=addreminder&e=464).

the intro is a little too long, but hey. its alright. listening to the intro to this sometimes makes me feel like im soaring through the clouds. cheesy as it is, try it. turn off all the lights and listen to this cd with a black light on or something. it's rad.

Or maybe the reason they are disappointed is because Tom said it was going to be the greatest CD in the last 30 years and they don't think it is the best CD in the last 30 years. Just my take on it, though.

it's pretty cool, i'm gonna buy it. i think the intro is wayy too long. its good, but i wouldn't have minded another boxcar album.

im actually rather excited for this now.

seeing them with tbs and head automatica should be a good time, even tho theyre playing the ampitheatre. ill prolly never get the chance to see them in club or smaller venue.:unsure:

No. He said it. Not exact words, but that's still what he said, and if you missed that you're blind or have been living under a rock. More accururately was something like "greatest rock and roll revolution of this generation" which is just as ridiculous.

Amazing song.Amazing Record, not as epic,life-changing and revolutionary as hyped but still really good. Oh and the reason the intro is so long is because it's the first song on the record.

This CD is great. I'll definitely buy it. But seriously, they should have gotten rid of "It Hurts". Such a crappy song.

Tell me you guys are taking the guy that wrote a song about fucking a dog in the ass this seriously. Jesus, most of what he said is an obvious exaggeration. Its a good album. Pretty uplifting in my opinion. And I think thats something a lot of people will take with the shit coming out now a days.

I don't think he's exaggerating. He seriously thinks he's that good. Truthfully I like the album a lot, but he leaked the best song first and then you had to be even more disappointed that nothing else coud live up to that.

Great Record, and it's not only the music, but the meaning behind the whole thing is aewsome. it may take a few listens, but it's very worthwhile.

i liked the way it was on the trailer for the movie better, it has the same effects but they took out that guitar in the beginning. What's up with that?

the only thing that bugs me about this album is how there is the guitar echo/delay effect on just about every song....it makes them all sound a little too similar. but i dunno..... its an amazing album, but they could have done more to be as epic as Tom said he wanted it to be.

im looking forward to both plus 44 and angels and airwaves....but as much as i grew up listenin to Blink, and i hate to say this but Tom and Mark are starting to look older

i'm not at all let down by this album...i've only heard the 4 songs that have been publicly leaked and im sooooo damn excited. it just keeps getting better and better. and if anyone preordered from the official AVA merch page for the pin and cd....sell me the pin!! ill pay like $8-10 for it. i already preordered through tower records.

does anyone know if they will be announcing anymore dates for the TBS/AVA summer tour??

or are all of the already announced dates the entire tour??

just curious because I live in Minneapolis and this is supposed to be a huge north american tour yet were not on there...??? strange to me, plus i love all the bands on the tour so i cant miss it.

And if you look in the top 8, you'll see songs from ava 1 and 2 as well (which don't have live performances, just the rest of the songs from the album for anyone who hasn't heard it).

And Tom has always sounded bad live. I think he sounds better in these recordings than he did while in blink.
