The Walt Disney Company reported its second quarter and six months results on Tuesday (full details here (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060509/20060509006257.html?.v=1)) and Chief Executive Robert Iger also gave an update on Toy Story 3 in a conference call.

Iger revealed that Walt Disney Pictures has started production on Toy Story 3, but no release date has been set for the third installment. The studio may also do other sequels of Pixar films.

that actually makes me happier than if they had gone along with it... the writers did such a great job on the first two and know the characters so well, that i wouldnt have wanted to see anyone else writing it.

Bradley Raymond was announced as the director of Toy Story 3, which was scheduled to open in 2008. In the film, Buzz Lightyear would have been recalled to Taiwan after a series of malfunctions. Learning of a productwide recall, all the toys in Andy's room, under Woody's leadership, were to head to Taiwan to save Buzz from doom.

Fucking amazing, the Toy Story movies are the best animation movies by far.

Well all of my friends are still in school and I don't start work for a bit so not cool. It still just feels like a long weekend though, like I can't believe I will be here for 4 months. Maybe I will get on some of those movies now due to boredom.
