Tell All Your Friends from Taking Back Sunday version 1 or Your Favorite Weapon from Brand New?
Lacey used to be in TBS and then he left to make this album with the song SeventyTimesSeven. John Nolan retaliated and made Tell All Your Friends and the song There's No 'I' In Team. Who do you think musically wins through these albums and songs?
Even though Brand New are by far a much better band, just considering these two albums would easily put TBS as the winner for me.

I think YFW has much more staying power. I still really like this album even though I also love Daisy whereas TAYF just doesn't hold my interest as much anymore.

I like Brand New more as a band, but based of of the two albums TAYF blows away YFW.

Tell All Your Friends easily. It's a big building block. The other one is basically denounced by the band :/.

Sorry if it's been done before. I haven't really seen the past ones but yeah, it is the only poll where Brand New loses.

Honestly, it's a tie for me. Both of these records meant a lot to me in middle school. I voted "Your Favorite Weapon" but seriously, that is a fucking tough decision for me to make.

Like others said, although Brand New raised the bar later in the game, at the time of this release TBS was on a whole different level.

TAYF is overrated IMO. Am I missing something here, or maybe it's just because I really don't like TBS.

By voting for TBS, I was expecting to by in the minority because BN wins every poll. I was surprised to find that this was not, in fact, the case.

Tell All Your Friends was good for Taking Back Sunday, but I really don't like TBS very much.

Brand New is my favorite band, but I've got to say TAYF whips YFW's ass. (Yay personification!)

YFW does have my 2 favorite songs from both albums combined, but I feel like TAYF aged better, flowed way better, and showed more potential. (At the time, I obviously don't feel that way now, sorry Noah Fawkes.)

Also, TAYF had an excellent trump card. John Nolan

I peronally prefer YFW soooo much more, whoever said that Tell all your friends has more "staying power", really do not agree with that, I mean lyrically YFW is so much stronger, you just have to compare Theres No I in team and Seventy Times 7, Jesse is the better musician.

Tell All Your Friends is worlds away from YFW. I can't understand why YFW has more than 20 votes.

False. there are no skippable tracks on TAYF (IMO) And I listened to YFW all the way through a few days ago and was left very bored.

I think the album as a whole, YFW is definitely better. But I think a few songs from TAYF are better than most on YFW. Those being Cute Without the 'E' (Cut from the Team), There's No "I" In Team, and You're So Last Summer, for me personally.

Brand New is probably my favorite band, and 'Jude Law...' is probably my favorite song of all-time, BUT TAYF, I think, is the best CD of all time. Which is why Taking Back Sunday sucked after it, there was just no way they could've followed it up.

tayf is amazing, and if you would have asked me a few years ago i would have said that it wins. but as of now, i can listen to yfw anytime, but i need to be in more of a specific mood for the teenage angst going on in tayf. so, yfw wins for me.
