In my fantasy pool I have to drop one of the two players, but I can't decide who: Ryan Kesler or Tim Connolly. I already have the Sedin twins so maybe Kesler (59pts in 82 games last season) won't produce as much for Vancouver.. on the other hand Connolly I think has the potential to be a good scorer (47pts in 48 games last season) but he's hardly played in the last three seasons.. any suggestions? I'm in a pickle!

Dropping Connolly would be the safe move, who know if he'll ever really bounce back from the concussion. On the other hand, if he plays a full season he will no doubt score higher than Kesler. How risky are you feeling??

I suppose I'm feeling rather risky, cause I'm currently leaning towards dropping Kesler. If (and thats a big if) Connolly stays healthy then I'd expect him to put up some solid numbers. I think Connolly is also expected to be the Sabers top center. I just don't think he's been the same after all those concussions, despite the reports of him being "healthy for the first time in years".

Tough call, if it were me, I'd go with Connolly. That's mostly because I loathe Vancouver though...

Is stuff like PIM and +/- included? Kesler will easily pick up more PIMS and likely be a higher plus than Kesler as well as picking up SH points as well. Connelly if healthy will likely score more points especially in the power play but its not just concussions for him, he is a lazy piece of shit too who even if his head is fine will find another way to miss 30 games this year.

Yup, PIM and +/- are included. I think I've got some other guys who should be able to contribute fairly well to the PIM and +/- departments. Even if Connolly could put in 65 games this year I'd still be impressed.

I would go Kesler just because Connoly can't stay healthy.

I second going with with Kesler for the PIMs and the +/- for sure...although I hate him because he is the arch nemesis of my boy RJ Umberger.

well what are the rules in your league, can you re-aquire a player youve dropped?
