I assume that's fake, but I haven't seen it refuted yet. It's listed as the main pic on the new untitled Batman movie on Christopher Nolan's imdb page.

it'd be dumb to even consider calling it the dark knight returns anyway. if it'd be modeled after the iconic comics, the dark knight returns, if i recall correctly, has the joker and two-face as the villains. silly.

If Johnny Depp signs on to play The Riddler like the original rumors stated, I would be fine with the Riddler being this next film's villain.

when you type Christopher Nolan in on imdb.com under his movies it says untitled Batman Project. This picture obviously could be a fake but the fact that imdb is not open source...odd that he is in the next Batman are very high.. As for playing the Riddler who knows anyone have any suggestions of what other part he could be playing if not the Riddler

How typical of an AP.net member to hate on someone that is "everywhere these days." The man takes every role he has ever been casted for and completely enamored himself to literally become that character...And you're telling me you don't want to see him play a kick ass villain in a kick ass movie franchise?

exactly, so many people were skeptical about Heath Legder playing Joker so I can imagine the same type of thing happening with the new villains. Depp would be an amazing choice I think because he is so versatile that Nolan could most certainly get anything he wants out of him.

THIS IS FAKE. nolan has stated that he is busy with inception and wont work on a third batman film (if he even will.. he isnt contracted like bale and after ledgers death nolan has stated he might not return for a 3rd) till inception is completely done.

i hope the riddler isnt the new villan... thats lame. the pengiun would be cool (especially if they got phillip seymor hoffman) but i want a fresh character!

I really can't see that they would stop making new films in this series. Riddler seems the best choice because all the other villains are just, well, lame.

I agree. Also, I seriously doubt it will be called the dark knight returns. We already have a batman returns, and the dark knight returns takes absolutely no effort to come up with as a title.

I could really see that coming out. It seems a little bit like the Joker though, so I think Nolan would have to edit the Riddler's character a little, so as to not make him seem like a total Joker knockoff.
