Considering my avatar, I have to make this poll. This for the fan's of Gerard Way's (My Chemical Romance) comic book series: The Umbrella Academy. Who's your favorite character?

*I decided to include #6/The Horror/Ben. Even though he's dead by the time the series begins, there's still the flashbacks and the Free Comic Book Day issue.

It just came out on Sept. 30th. In the states, anyway. If you think #5 is crazy in Apocalypse Suite, wait 'till you read Dallas.

I love The Kraken the most, I love how he spent most of the first story bleeding to death. I need to re-read Dallas again. I heard way wanted to do one more story, so hopefully that happens soon. I'd like to find out what exactly happened to The Horror...

He actually said he wanted to do 7 or 8 series in total. Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion will be released in 2010.

Really? I remember hearing at the start of the series he just wanted to do 3. This was 2 years ago I guess things might have changed.

I read an interview before the first series came out that he didn't know how many he wanted to do, but by the time Apocalypse Suite was out in full form, he had settled on 7 or 8. Maybe it's because he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to do it past 3 series, but now that he's become a successful comic book writer (with an entirely new series on the way, "The True Story Of The Fabulous Killjoys"), he can do whatever he wants, he's the man. You might be right though, in the beginning, but good thing he wants to do more :-) .

definately a fan of the white violin. her whole story in the apocolypse suite is just pretty epic.
