It's weird how bands like this start out in England.. like they have been on TV and stuff for a while on top of all the alternative music video charts (MTV2) and released their album a few months back.

They're ace though, you really should check them out they're a great, great band.

Haha we get it before you guys. This album is awesome. There's so much attitude on it. Also, they're like 18 now, well Jemina is anyway (19 next month).

I heard a story today that at one of their shows (at a festival or something I'm guessing, rather than one of their own headlinings gigs) people in the crowd were chanting at Jemina to 'get her tits out' and she just walked offstage. I find this absolutely disgusting, and it reminded me of that letter the Hayley from Paramore wrote about females in rock music.

Be Your Own Pet have been on MTV2 here for about a year now. Good band though.
