why would you throw all your hard work and dedication out the window and "start over" because you know everyone will still compare you to the old band anyways, they just need to work on finding their sound, contrary to what many believe, this band never released a bad album in my opinion, they just have a hard time releasing a really good one

dear diary was awesome when I was in high school, I was and still am a fan of Herione, I thought that album was a cool progressioon of their sound, and I also liked the more-straight forward approach of the the S/T, Not to say I'm spinning fftl albums daily, I just think the band gets an undeserving amount of hate

It's been rumored and essentially confirmed on this site for awhile.

I've met a couple of guys in the band, and they're all super good dudes. I really wish I would've liked their last album more, but honestly there were only 3-4 great songs, whereas Dear Diary was loaded with standout tracks. And Heroine was pretty underrated - such a heavy, dirty record.

Hopefully they can get back to the anthemic screamo they used to do, maybe mix in a little more technicality like Heroine. They fit pretty well on Rise.

Not really, I just meant that this bands albums have been slightly above mediocre, their albums aren't terrible, yet they aren't incredible either, they just need to work on finding their right sound that works for them, and I think they've gotten progressively closer to finding what works for them, and I think it would be a waste to change their name and totally start over and throw away all their hard work getting the fftl name out there
