ok seriously.. i dont use the term AT ALL but fuck .. the word SELL OUTS is just screaming at me.. head a's first alblum is daring disco/indie/techno/pop/what have yous .. and they werent afraid to release a beating hearts video of them rocking out at CBGB.. and i LOVED that.. and so did everyone else.. than they redid the video in bright fruity colors and EH i was pissed but i dealt with it..

but this fuckin shit.. damned if you change, damned if you stay the same. BUT DONT SELL OUT... ok its 1 thing to write a record with different music.. evolution is important, somewhat nessecary even.. but come on dude, it doesnt even loook like the same members , Daryl is like 30 SINGING ABOUTGRADUATION.. and whats with spotting out the trendy stereotypical kids.. if i was a fat black girl i would be SO offended after seeing that fucking video.. fuck if i was STAR JONES id be offended haha.. whats the point of portreying a fat girl turned aeorobics teacher.. i guess idont fucking get it hahaha. but yeah, the music doesnt even seem like a viable evolution.. it seems way out in left field and shit.. im sure it will do good on mtv and im sure the next generation of 13 year old soccer girls will love it but i dont know.. after hearing glassjaw for so long and figuring what i consider to be daryls views.. this seems very fuckin sell outty of him..

Popaganda is such a disappointing album.
I've only listened a few times, so my opinion may change, but I agree. I don't like it at all upon the first few listens.

On a side note, I love playing Brooklyn Is Burning when I DJ parties. People always ask me what band that is.

if you think the term sell-out is still applicable in the new world of underground music you're clinging to the past, if you think head a sold out on this album and not the last your just splitting hairs, you think glassjaw is done because they were too mainstream and daryl really wanted to "get back to his roots" or some garbage like that, no hes gonna make money, and he's gonna do it quick, just like everybody else, dont go around calling people sellouts, cause I guarantee the most head A is ever gonna sell out will be roseland ballroom, and why not make money while you can, if people can listen to bands like Aiden or Hawthorne heights and actually think that its worth giving them money, then anyone deserves it, just leave it alone, I can't even stand hearing the words sellout anymore, if they really piss you off, don't worry everyone outside of this forum will have forgotten about them by 2007.
