I run a music marketplace, Musicslu.com (http://musicslu.com). We're very new and we have a radical new idea about how music can be sold and shared.

How we work is best summed up by the notice that appears on release pages:
YOUR BAND wants to release YOUR RELEASE for free sharing and remixing. But they still needs your support to keep making great music! So they'll make a deal with you: if you use the pledge button above to donate any amount (from $1 and up), you only have to pay that donation if $YOUR RELEASE GOAL is raised before RELEASE DATE, otherwise you pay nothing. By making a pledge, you'll receive the release 7 days before anyone else, be free to share it with anyone, and become eligible to win prizes offered exclusively to pledgers!
The idea is we encourage music piracy as a way to let more people enjoy your music. By releasing music through our pledge-release system, we make sure that piracy doesn't hurt your bottom line.
Any bands here interested in signing up? I'm open for questions as well :)
