I think they get ripped on for being similar more than they should. Just because both bands use off-kilter rhythms and similar KINDS of chord progressions, they shouldn't get lumped as the same thing.

well i think the thing that counteracts that (maybe at least for me) is they put something out every year. and to be honest, i can't even think of a song of theirs that i DON'T like. i can listen to all their cds right through.

However, I love Wonderland, and I have never listened to them before I picked up Wonderland last Saturday and I have been rocking to it for the past week. Amazing CD.

it took me a while to get into gatsbys but once i did i fucking loved them, but i do think they are over hyped on here, just like every other band in the scene that isnt that great. ill be the first to admit that i love the music on this site personally, but i know enough to know that half the stuff we listen to isnt anything that great in the broader scope of things. Wonderland seemed to be more easily listened to at first listen and i enjoy the album very much, about just as much as volcano.
