I really hope this hasn't been done.

Who do you like better. I personally prefer Kweli, but Mos is still ace.

Mos Def's a better artist, but since you asked who I personally prefer, the answer's Talib Kweli.

Okay If we go based on Their Best Album- Mos Def, The New Danger was an ecclectic musical masterpiece that showed that Mos, isn't just one of the top MCs in the game but one of the top artists in music IMO

I'm also biased towards Mos because Black on Both Sides Really gave me my love and passion for hip hop.

That Being said as a hip hop artist and having better hip hop albums, I'd go with Talib Kweli. Quality is Classic, as is Reflection Eternal/Train of thought. I also think there are times Kweli Shines more as an MC

I guess what I'm saying is Neither and if I was President I'd pass a law demanding a new BlackStar album Now Because Supreme Supreme is a cocktease

I love Mos Def and Black Star, I just can't really get all that into Talib.

Supreme Supreme is amazing.

So is Right About Now, and I have read some negative reviews on it. I really love that cd though.

Kweli's never released an album as good as Black On Both Sides.

Kwe didn't drop Black on Both Sides Mos Def did. As for not dropping a HIP HOP album as good as that one The New Danger was a Brilliant album, it was just not what people wanted to hear from Mos Def. (Myself Included at first) but it really showcases how talented Dante Smith is

Um he's implying that Mos Def has made the best record of the two.

I haven't heard the New danger but it is regarded as the lesser of the two mos def solo albums. I love Black on Both Sides but I can't pretend that I don't love Quality just as much.

Nontheless, Black Star is both of them at their finest.

Yeah, I know.

And The New Danger isn't half the album Black On Both Sides is, no matter what way you slice it.

Practically no album is half the album that Black on Both Sides is.

Mos Def has been involved in more shit that I've appreciated more than Talib has. He's done some sick shit, but Mos Def's albums have just meant more.

Mighty Mos has always owned Kweli, he's much better. Kweli has some great tracks on his own, but they are usually due to the guest mc murdering him on his own track
