Yes, but using this argument, dollar store earphones are superior to higher end earphones, which clearly is not the case.

No, but if you can get the same thing for 3.99 or 9.99 than 3.99 > 9.99.
Anyways... I bought this. I like it, but I think it'll be a grower, too.

Well, in either case the audio you are getting is the same, it is that you get more of the aesthetic with the physical release. I do prefer physical copies, but an album for $3.99 is hard to resist.

$9.99 really isn't that much. I wouldn't mind if they were a little cheaper, and considering the cost to make the physical albums, they likely have a lot of room to make them cheaper, but it's not bad. Besides, digital media is nothing. At least with a CD (or vinyl, etc.) you have a physical object to hold and look through, an actual something that can't be endlessly (and easily) reproduced and disposed of.

True, but if you put the files on the iPod or a laptop, the files all end up the same way. The music itself is no less transcendent if you buy a CD or a digital copy.

Yes, but the artwork and lyrics are a part of the overall album experience... at least for me. If you disagree and enjoy music differently, you're an idiot and should shut up and go away.

iPods can break and harddrives can crash. That's the main reason I buy physical albums. If you get all your music digitally and then your harddrive crashes, it all goes out the window.

I agree with that, but if I can get an album for $3.99 as opposed to $9.99 or whatever, I'm going to go for the cheaper option because I have very limited funds. :stickout:

Definitely wish I could afford the physical copy instead of this deal b/c I can not for the life of me figure out what he's saying in the chorus of Over It.

does anyone have a link to the full artwork? they dont give you it with the amazon download...
Open up the MP3s in iTunes. Right click and go to properties. Right click on the album art and hit copy. Open a photo program. CTRL+V. Save as whatever you want. Prosper.

Physical copies + lossless rips on hard drive + lossless rips on external hard drive + lossless rips on your large ipod = security.
I would die if I had to rip all my stuff over again... But I do have the CDs in a big box downstairs in my parent's house, aside from the few I have in my glovebox and whatnot.
