Wax on Radio (http://www.myspace.com/waxonradio) has signed with Downtown Records (http://www.downtownrecordings.com); below is a message from the band:
We are proud to announce our signing to Downtown Records, home of Gnarls Barkley, Eagles Of Death Metal, & Art Brut. We have remixed 'Exposition' with Mark Needham (Fleetwood Mac, Cake, Say Anything, The Killers, We Are Scientists) and will be adding 3 or 4 more songs to make a full length for release at the end of August. There will be new art too.
We are all extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing growing label. Stay tuned for more news. We'll have more to come very soon.

best chicago band in my mind. seem to be hard workers and trying to stear away from that chicago scene stuff, which where they are from is hard to do. they deserve credit as they do their own thing and continue to make the best music from the city. well hush sound and this is me smiling are right there too but whateves

I like how one person says they don't really like the band and then the Chicago Scene Police come and defend them.
