larry brown has four years and $40million left on his contract, but the knicks still want to buy it out after just one season.

rumor has it isiah takes over coaching duties if this happens. you know, since he's so much else to better that franchise.

seriously, what's wrong with that team? i mean, what isn't wrong with that team?

what a shame. one of the all-time great point guards and one of the all time great coaches and they are both tarnishing their legacies with this franchise thats become the joke of professional sports.

dolan needs to just get rid of isiah and cut his losses.

Umm it's not Brown's problem if they give him absolute shitty overyapyed players who are nothing but ballhogs. Francis and Marbury cannot coexist, ever, it's not even possible. They need to keep Brown for at least one more year, FUCK Isaiah. He's not a good GM and he should be gone. This is the reason I'm not a Knicks fan..their front office is horrible.

They need to take the team and build it around the trio of Frye/Lee/Robinson, and keep only Jalen Rose or Steve Francis..they can't keep all these overpayed guys. They need role players..guys like Mike James and Boris Diaw. Players like that.

it is brown's problem though ...thats the thing. he may not have caused the problems, but he left one of the best teams in the NBA for this franchise that was already a mess. He doesn't deserve to get a free pass, because he seeked out that job. It's his own fault for getting involved in a situation that was clearly a mess already.

I understand what you're saying, and in that case I agree. But Isaiah should know that he has one of the best coaches in Basketball's history (NBA, ABA, NCAA), and he should have gotten players that could be useful. Instead he signed and traded for every allstar calibur name, no matter the position. Does it make sense to acquire Jalen Rose, Steve Francis, and Stephon Marbury when they all do the same thing? They're all PG/SG type players, it makes no sense. Isaih has to go, more than anyone.

yeah, i completely agree that the blame falls 1st on isiah's shoulders. this mess existed long before brown took the reigns and thomas is the reason for that. brown was stupid, more then anything, for getting involved with this franchise and leaving what he had already built alongside joe dumars.

He was blessed in Detroit, I dunno why he left. It was more him just wanting to coach where he grew up, in New York. If I had a choice to coach NY or any other team I'd probably choose NY too just because it's my hometown. But what he had in Detroit was nuts, don't know what made him leave.

nah its like this if the knicks have the 8th pick and the bulls have the 12th or something the bulls have the option to trade up with the knicks so its a swap of picks
