I don't know why people don't reply on this board..maybe because it's so far down the page and/or there aren't usually many good recommendations..It seems like more recommendations go in the respective genre subforums.

As for this one, I'm pretty picky when bands claim to be "southern rock" cause it seems that almost everything I hear is exactly like ETID, and while they're a cool band, I've already heard it all. I like bands that play southern rock style music, but not the same stuff I've heard before...These guys are different, the breakdown in the song you suggested is cool. The lyrics, too, are different than those in most of the "southern" crap I've heard. I love the style he sings with...reminds me of some old school hxc.

there's two singers, cam and tim neff.
tim neff does the intro and somewhere in the middle of work on your landings..
neff's also a lone artist for acoustic stuff, if you go back to the page and click on his name in the member section you can hear that stuff.

also, before changing their style to this, they were just another hardcore band--before they got fedup with that kind of music.
