Stutterfly Looking For Vocalist

Stutterfly (http://myspace.com/stutterfly) is looking for a new singer. A message from the band is below:
There always comes a time in a bands life where change happens. And for our band, that time is now. After 8 years of love and dedication, Chris Stickney has decided that his time in Stutterfly is done. We all support his decision to going back to living a "normal" life and wish him all the best in whatever he does. He wrote something for everyone to read and here it is:
"Beloved friends and fans,
It is at this time I would like to announce my decision to part ways with Stutterfly. Our show in Kelowna on April 28th was my last, thank you for making it awesome!! It has been an amazing journey over the last 8 years, and I would like to thank you all so much for your love and support; it means the world to me. However I feel at this time I need to focus on other areas in my life and I am excited to see what God has in store for me!! I will miss all the good times, all of my friends and of course all the fans. I wish nothing but the best for my 4 brothers Jordan, Bradyn, Jason and Ryan. I know they will make me proud to have been a part of this. I love you all very much!!

And to answer your questiion, no we aren't breaking up and no this isn't the end of Stutterfly. We will be looking for someone to fill the large shoes that Chris left behind, so if you would like to try out, then we will be posting info about that very, very soon.

We're all excited to see what's in store for our band and the new experiences that God is going to bring us as a "new" band!

Thanks for all your support and love...we could never tell you all how much it means to us :)

That being said, I'm somewhat surprised to hear all the praise for God, as I didn't know they were like that, but whatev. Oh well, I hope they find another vocalist soon.

i hate to say this but they are so cliche in eveyr aspect, theres nothing remotely original about them, from their album name, band name, songs names, wardrobe, sing/scream vocals... although you never know maybe they will become better with a new vocalist

Wow, I didn't know, they were dropped...damn

And it's very hard to find a new singer as good as Chris. He has a very unique and different voice (compared with the rest of the screamo stuff out there)

if i am correct, i remember seeing this band at warped tour last year while i was waiting for the bled to start. they were pretty weird. the guy was sticking some sort of horn instrument into his underwear and showing his pubic hair. it was fucking gross. however, music is music and i know they have fans. i am sorry to them.

It always sucks when a band loses their frontman. I've played with these guys on a couple of occasions and bought their first maverick release. They were fairly impressive live but the one thing about them that i could never really get into was the vocals. Maybe this will be a good change for them.

these guys were the most amazing guys ive ever met and played shows with in my life. he was engaged last year, so I'm pretty sure he's focusing on his wife..plus i think he said he was either 26 or 28, so yeah, i can understand. i just hope they get an amazing vocalist.

Don't be surprised if you see them finalize a deal in the near future with a certain seattle based, christian, major indie....hmmmmm

Stutterfly on Tooth & Nail/Solid State? I didn't realize they were a "Christian" band...hmm. Can't say I would mind, but that just seems weird.

damn that sucks. i got to talk to chris and bradyn after they played in VA a few months back. ive been into these guys for years. and for anyone saying theyre youre generic band, no. chris actually has a different voice than a lot of other frontmen. well good luck with whatever he does now, but i dont think he can be replaced.
