Cartel Addresses Fansite Issues

For people complaining about having already bought Chroma and therefore not being able to get into Cartel (http://www.absolutepunk.net/cartel)'s new fansite, the band has just addressed this concern on their website (http://www.cartelrocks.com).

I love this band, but for one with so much hype, Will really needs to step up his game. The last two times he's been to Florida he's been sick at the Orlando show and done horrible (although I respect him for coming out.. although at the HOB show it probably wasn't the best call..) then cancelling the Jax show. And then I read the comment above about how he needs to show up for shows, from someone in Maryland i believe, it seems it's more then just some Florida curse. Hopefully he'll be in full force in two weeks with Hit the Lights...

Will has to cancel because he gets sick, mostly because he hurts his voice. The way he sings hurts his vocal chords. Yes hes a great singer, but I know for a fact that he cant continue singing the way he does. So I hope with signing to a Major label, they'll get him someone who knows how to help him out.

The only band I've ever known to not make it to a show I've been to is hit the lights about 3 weeks ago...other than the NFT date in seattle that got canceled completely

but they did due to illness and Scheduling problems, only like3 or 4 out of 55 shows on the SIFB tour

haha. like you know what's in his voice. he gets sick because they tour like shit. they're in a van.....driving over-night, in cold weather. i believe he said that he had pharyngitis both times he cancelled/got sick in fla. you don't get a bacterial infection from singing incorrectly. living on tour is dirty. all bands, all singers get sick. it's a fact of life. it's a fact of tour. of course, they wish they didn't have to cancel. jacksonville looks bad for cartel because of it. the yahoo thing is the reason he had to leave and he was sick too. bad things happen at bad times. it's never opportune. i just don't think you know what or how he sings. no one knows that except him or a trained vocal coach who i swear couldn't hear indescrepancies in a live pa with kids singing with him. it's a bad call. i just don't like when fans put their judgements on people in bands when they aren't in one. show me your band and i'll show you your justification. then of course....you're just a shit talker. no ones likes those.
