another thing to consider...Since all but 1 team is in the NFC, we should probably try and balance this out a little better. This way when playoffs come around, the AFC will have people to play rather than just computer. I can change to AFC if we need it.

I made the quarters 7 min. long with a 15 sec accelerated clock. The difficulty is All-Pro. I also capped the max users at 12. Oh, and I changed over to the AFC so if one more person can do that, we will have 3 AFC and 4 NFC.

1 Free Agent pickup before your week 1 game.
1 Trade with a computer team, you can trade up to 10 points higher than what you give up so for example: 70 overall traded and you receive an 80 overall.

I'm pretty sure the xbox league was doing something along those lines and they seemed to be pretty successful with it. I think the commissioner has to approve everything, which is me, so I'll approve it on a first come first serve basis as of right now.

That way we are all playing each other a lot and not just the computer every week.

I'm down to play in almost any division, really, jesus, I PICKED the raiders, so I can't really get much worse, I could be the lions pretty happily.

So if we have 5 people, I think if we can get 1 more, we can do 2 divisions, 3 people per division...one AFC and one NFC, that way when the Super Bowl is played it could possibly be between 2 people rather than the computer. sound good? if we have to, we can always do 2 in one division and 3 in another.

go to the online menu, and it should say franchises, click on that, and they give you the steps from there. if you get lost or whatever, let me know.

From what I can tell, you can't update the online franchise rosters. The rosters used for the online franchise are different than the ones you download so I don't think you can update em. I'll try creating another franchise to see if they are any different.

yeah, my vote for divisions are the AFC North (Pitts, Cincy, Cleveland, Balt) and the NFC East (Dallas, Philly, Wash, NYG). I think those are pretty competitive divisions as of right now. Plus we already have Dallas and Philly signed up for. I'll take Cincy I guess if this is the case.

ok well I checked out if the rosters would change if I create a new franchise and it looks like they are the same, so we are stuck with rosters that already in our franchise now.

also I think we should switch around the teams for sure because of right now, my schedule has me playing the computer all 16 weeks, which is just dumb. So let's agree on two divisions, 1 AFC and 1 NFC and I'll make a new franchise and we can get this thing going.

online franchise makes it a whole new game. it's like fantasy but you get to play with the team you build up, so many new dimensions that aren't found outside of franchise. though i get what you're saying, i'd be over madden as well if i hadn't found the ap league, single player gets boring fast.
