It may just be me, but the prosecution's case seems to be weak. It should be interesting to see how this plays out because something tells me they must have better evidence then what the public knows about in order to charge these kids with such intense crimes.
I haven't been paying attention all that much but didn't they say the DNA tests were inconclusive?

yeah, i guess there is some DNA matching the guys that was found on one of her fake fingernails ...but thats it. Plus she'd had sex recently before the alledged rape and there isnt really reason to believe whatever injuries she sustained was from that. It just seems like they have close to no case ...but we'll see.

yeah, but they are defending a black girl ..so i guess the law of the south has itself all confused right now.
I was watching the news today and they showed all these people in the community saying that they better be found guilty because the black community needed this and wouldn't stand for anything else. I guess that whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing gets thrown out the window when it becomes a race issue.
The accuser also said she's going through with this to better her life and better the life of her kids. aka CHA-CHING!
Hey maybe if this doesn't pan out she can say Michael Jackson was playing with her kids while she was on the pole.

if a girl charges you with rape, and it is found out that she is lying, she should be sentenced to an actual rape.

That guy seems like such a douchebag from his little statement, not to mention every picture of him I saw looks like a prototypical asshole. He may not have done it, but for some reason I'm convinced I don't like him.

the longer this thing goes on, the less and less i believe this happened. i mean, it looks like its all about this district attorney trying to book these kids so he can get re-elected. it's a wild goose chase, and its sad that they cancelled duke's season, esspecially for the seniors who graduated this past weekend.

how would you act if you were captain on a sports team, you were in your last semester at duke as a senior, then you get accused of rape, your last lacrosse season is cancelled and you are instantly dubbed guilty?
i think any person would talk sternly like he, i mean hell, his lawyer probably wrote his whole statement so that it was bulletproof in court.

i don't remember where i saw this, but the girl accused someone else of rape a few years back and charges were never filed. so she has pulled this before.
it's a shame that these kids are just a ploy to get re-elected as DA. if these kids were black, instantly it would be called racism if they were pigeon holed as guilty before any of the details were even known.
