because the one piece anime makes me gag, english or otherwise. horrible art. in manga form, naruto is the best, then one piece, then bleach

Yeah battle mangas do tend to get confusing sometimes, but my main gripe with the animes are their voice actors. The voices annoy me way too much, I can hardly sit through one episode.

Haha, fair enough, I don't mind the Japanese voices for it that much, there sure is a lot of shouting though.

i'll have to admit, people who like anime typically aren't exactly the most sociable people in the world. however, to say that anime sucks when all you've been exposed to are dbz, inuyasha, naruto, bleach, one piece, pokemon, yugioh, digimon and whatever other crappy kiddy show they have on cartoon network is just plain ignorance. anime, like any other medium of entertainment, has its really really good stuff and really really bad stuff, and to judge the artform as a whole solely based on the bad stuff is unfair, don't you think? at a certain point, the quality of anime is so high that the only difference between anime and the best of american animated films is where it came from. is it nerdy or lame to like wall-e?

it's their fault for having the stupid american misconception that animation is just for kids.

but that's just me. i'd rather believe that i'm normal and everyone else is just ignorant.
