Here's an update from Steve Bache, drummer for He Is Legend (http://www.myspace.com/heislegend), regarding the recording process.
Hello rabid He Is Legend fans! Studio update #2 brings tales of wonder, joy, excitement, and heartbreak. We've moved from the awesome-tastic Sound City Studio to the "wow it smells like pot" studio in Huntington Beach. I have to say that some really solid guitar work has been completely laid down atop the stellar drumming we've already taped. And by solid, i mean our record now sounds like a volcano has somehow erupted in the living room of a Jurassic Park- themed frat party. Riffs, squealies, solos, riffs, chugga chugs, and squealies now reign supreme. Thanks to Adam 'heroes in a half-shell' Tanbouz and Mckenzie 'is that your final answer' Bell, our record might be the most ridiculous album since Kidz Bops VIII. Matt also
has his bass tone honed in and on track, a sound he has described to me as "what happens when an army tank finds his wife in bed with the Navy air craft carrier from across the street." I don't know what that means, but no one should. With guitars and drums complete, and bass well under way, the album is really shaping up and should maybe definately see an early Fall
(northern hemisphere) release. We also are getting stoked on our headlining tour with Fall of Troy, Showbread, and Classic Case, as well as our split EP with Classic Case (www.futuretenserecords.com) (http://www.futuretenserecords.com)). We're also doing something different, ingenius even, with our album artwork, so be on the lookout for some details about that soon. Anyways, enough about the Legend, yall tell me about your new albums now (buy ours).
