NEW YORK (AP) - Larry Brown may be on his way out of New York. Stephon Marbury doesn't care either way.

"Based on our record, that's normal for anybody to have that speculation," the Knicks' point guard said of reports that the coach may be booted following a 23-59 season.
Owner James Dolan is considering buying out Brown's contract, the New York Post and Daily News reported Sunday. His possible replacement: team president Isiah Thomas, according to the Post.

"I wouldn't mind, it doesn't matter who coaches," said Marbury, who feuded with Brown throughout the season. "I don't care if Larry Brown comes back. I wouldn't mind at all."


I'm sure Larry Brown is going now for sure..it seems like when Marbury speaks the orginization listens.

What does he care who's gonna be coaching next year? Chances are he won't be there anyway.

i think they both need to go they would but any team thats willing to take on marbury the knicks would prob have to eat a majority of his contract

if i isiah is the coach in NY, the entire team should be contracted. that is absolutely ridiculous. David stern should step in and specifically tell them that isiah has done enough to ruin the franchise, he's not allowed to coach.

it won't matter. red auerbach couldn't win more than 30 games with that roster.

They really need to just fold the team. Start a new one. Pick up anyone they can get and larry brown to coach them. That would work better than this team of idiots.
