Easily this. The only baseball game worth playing.

Has to be Ken Griffey Jr Baseball. I loved how you could make the pitch go from east to west and north to south manually

loved MVP 05. MLB The Show 08 (don't have 09) is also really good in my opinion. As for old school, I had Roger Clemens baseball for NES and that game was awesome.

I love Jay Buhners nickname, Richie Cannon.

The first Griffey game for N64 is an all time favorite. I still remember the cheat code to get a homerun with him every time he makes contact. Left, left, right, right, right, left, left.

MVP Baseball 2005, no doubt. Though MLB: The Show 09 is also fantastic.

i did enjoy griffey. the fact that you could wait under a fly ball and jump ten times and still catch the ball was remarkable. that is the only gripe i have with the show (well maybe some other things). you should be able to jump a million times before catching a fly ball.
world series baseball for sega. i threw no hitters with mike mussina all the time and hit homers with chris hoiles on the reg.

I loved MVP 05 then EA quit making MLB games. But The Show franchise picked up quite nicely after that.

R.B.I. Baseball for the NES was so much fun. The National League All-Star Team had Ryne Sandberg, Tony Gwynn, Andre Dawson, Mike Schmidt, Ozzie Smith, Andres Gallaraga, etc.

I always wanted another baseball franchise to pick up a great create a franchise/create a ball park mode. I believe it was All Star baseball 2003 had this and it was awesome. They had like 20 pre-made parks that looked great and had some character. I wish there was something like this.

I wish they would completely revamp the 2k baseball series. The graphics on those games are great, but the gameplay is so terrible year after year.

Came in to say this. Love that game, me and my friends still drunkenly play it all the time. The Orioles are so stacked in it.

I still say the World Series Baseball, um, series is my most fondly remembered baseball game.
Although the home run derbies in weird locations (giant house) in the the Triple Play series were always fun.
I'm gonna have to say MVP 05 is, although The Show is an incredible sim. Surprised that the Triple Play franchise hasn't been mentioned much....not surprised that the mlb 2k series hasn't.
MVP05, Ken Griffey Jr.'s slugfest, and all the new Show's on PS3.
My roommate plays MVP05 religiously, because he downloaded the 08 mods so he has all the new prospects and rookies, etc.
The game I played more than any other as a kid:
