This moment held in high regard
a drop of blood; the silence is gone
the on lookers feel the need to applaud
with indecisiveness we risk our spark
that lit the very fire we wouldn't dare put out
We rather watch the casualties scream and shout
Than stop this show we worked through with doubts
But never let it disrupt the plot
Cause the climax can't come any quicker
And two shots for the photographer
Catching a pose that's sure to deliver
Every scar on our bodies tells a tale
beautiful or not
of how we refused to fail
under the pressure of this waking audience
I feel the cycle repeating it's ever so daunting
a drop of blood; the silence is gone
the on lookers feel the need to applaud
with indecisiveness we risk our spark
that lit the very fire we wouldn't dare put out
We rather watch the casualties scream and shout
Than stop this show we worked through with doubts
But never let it disrupt the plot
Cause the climax can't come any quicker
And two shots for the photographer
Catching a pose that's sure to deliver
Every scar on our bodies tells a tale
beautiful or not
of how we refused to fail
under the pressure of this waking audience
I feel the cycle repeating it's ever so daunting
