meh..i would go........ but nah. if i had known sooner maybe i would have worked it into my schedule. oh well. the last time i attended a virgin megastore thing was when straylight performed there like over a year ago. that was really rad cause when i got there, there was like no one there but the band just hanging out and i was right in front of them when they played.

The Adventure is the best song on this album. The rest is very repetetive.
I went to the show at bowery last nite and they were very good. You can tell they are still in the opening stages as they were very tight but have yet to find that comfort level with each other. Tom looked somewhat nervous at the beginning but seemed to lighten up and crack jokes as the show progressed, even calling this album his Jerry Maguire project. The material is definitely something you have to give time to and if your looking for anyhting resembling a punk rock record, it's not there. If I had to I would call it adult-alternative music, which for a guy who used to run the streets naked will definitely alienate some of the Blink fans. He did plat 2 blink tracks solo by himself and the crowd loved The adventure and the closer War, which really showed the band's potential. I think as they get more comfortable live, the intensity on the mostly mellow material will bring better performances.

Man....AVA live has got me dissapointed based on all the videos i've seen. Maybe I can judge them fairly if I actually see them in person.

I feel bad for the other 3 guys in the band besides Tom. You know that at these signings, there'll be tons of teenyboppers rushing there just to get Tom's signature and they probably wont even care about the other 3 dudes.

I think these guys get bashed way too much. They sounded great live. Sound crew was top notch.
