So I always had a thing for the girl whop played key/tambourine in my old band, but never mentioned it due to her seeming to have a thing for my best friend who was also in my band. I quit the band a few months ago, due to my best friend and other member's drug problems(they're way to rock n' roll for me hah) and my own addiction. She quit soon after and we all grew apart fairly quickly. I called her up the other night, because I like talking to her and all. Ended up randomly blurting out how I would love to be with her and share our worlds together. She told me that she felt the same way and I should've said something sooner. I didn't get the hint about saying something earlier and asked her out for a night, and she says that she's got another man, they're falling for each other blahdiblah. Should I just wait or just drop it and look elsewhere? Please and thanks for any advice, I'm terrible at this kind of stuff.

And to the OP: Don't think that waiting and looking are mutually exclusive things. You can wait around for her but still keep your eyes open. I don't understand how these things are just huge, complex problems for people. You aren't fucking abandoning her just because you think your chem lab partner is cute or something.

Thanks man. It was psychadelic 60's revival garage band music, it was a lotta fun. I love jammin. I might be going to USC next year. Jam sesh?
