Upcoming Mae Headlining Tour

Mae (http://www.whatismae.com) will be headlining a tour in August / September with The Spill Canvas (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thespillcanvas) as direct support on half the tour, and with The New Amsterdams (http://www.newams.net) as direct support on the other half. i don't really like mae, but they played at ECU in greenville one time and my friend marc and i found the "backstage" room or whatever with the big sandwich platters and stuff and pigged out on mae's deli tray. not that anyone cares, it's just that everytime i hear about me i automatically associate turkey sandwiches and hummus.

mae are amazing live.
I hate to be negative, but I've seen Mae live twice and they weren't that great either time. It seems to me like the lead singer is always straining to hit the notes. I don't know. Maybe I caught them on an off night (twice?) I was really bummed, too, because all their records are GREAT and I am stoked for the new one as well.
