Some of the bigger indie-labels are now getting interested in Sherwood (http://www.absolutepunk.net/sherwood). Where do you think they'll end up (or where do you think they should end up)? Their free EP has been downloaded almost 19,000 times.

sherwood are bound to blow up. these are exciting times.
i say sherwood sign with militia. the sidecho connection is there, and militia is just the size sherwood deserves. they seem weird on a major, no offence to the band, but that day will come where major is what they need. i feel militia is a perfect place. sidecho - major is a huge jump and there is too much stress for a band to take, it may be a start of a fall. touch wood. but im just saying, but hey, im not in the band, im sure they know best.

Definitely the militia group.
They have that sound, and they are from right up the street in California.

all i have to say is jason tate job well done :). sherwood is going to the promise land... i think this should be done with more bands.... for instance THE PETTIT PROJECT. they just released an e.p. online thats pretty fun and perfect for the summer time :). anyone else dig them?
i was thinking tooth and nail, but sherwood aren't all christian, are they?
not everyone in the band has to be a christian to be on t&n. they have a lot of bands where only 1 or 2 people in the band are christians...

these guys have worked so hard. they tour more than most bands. they practically live in an RV. i'd love to see them go major.

Please. They deserve major exposure.. Not T&N which released a first video for emery a year after their record is out..C'mon..
FBR
Why, because just look at PATD!, FOB, TAI, and soon to be CIWWAF, they are all huge bands, they will be just as HUGE

Drive Thru Records.
either you're kidding, or you don't realize that Sherwood doesnt have that commercial quality (or lackthereof) that the majority of the bands on that label have.
FBR
Why, because just look at PATD!, FOB, TAI, and soon to be CIWWAF, they are all huge bands, they will be just as HUGE
CIWWAF try too hard, and their music is absolutely terrible. sherwood, again, doesn;t have that super super marketable quality to them, which would kill the band's career. (ex: the AKA's, Kane Hodder)
I still say Rushmore.
Rushmore wouldn't be THAT bad of a fit, it's a little small for all the touring and hard work the members have put into the band. then again, with the Rushmore tag comes that little yellow arrow that says Drive Thru. but like i said before, there's a certain quality that i've realized the more popular DTR bands have. and sherwood doesnt necessarily have it. neither do the rxbandits(the absolute best band on that label) or i am the avalanche, and look how much promotion those bands are getting.
all in all, i'd say Militia Group or Tooth&Nail. both labels have artists that could be grouped together with sherwood for a package tour, and they're big enough to promote the hell out of the band.

I hope this band doesn't sign to FBR. I love that label but it wouldn't be a good idea. I don't think they would fit well with them either.

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to guessing this kind of stuff, but looking at Jason's title I would say Tooth and Nail. But, I personally see these guys on Hopeless, but I'm not sure why no one has mentioned them yet.

id like to see them on epitaph, just so they can get a good push from the indie side of things.
Definitely the militia group.
They have that sound, and they are from right up the street in California.
That and the militia group is badass.
they have had some of the most pop-punk should be huge bands. ex: the rocket summer, cartel, rufio, acceptance(kind of) etc. . .

i'm surprised no one has said they'd like to see them in the garbage yet.

Is Tooth and Nail a one hundred percent Christian label? It seems like they might be since so many of their bands are Christian, but I don't think all of them are and I don't think it says anything about being Christian on their site.

Contrary to popular belief, Tooth & Nail is not a Christian label and has had more than a few bands on thier roster that are not Christian (The Juliana Theory, Stretch Arm Strong, etc).

Side Cho is TMG, they're definitely moving on to bigger and better things. I think DTR could help its roster signing them and get back in the game.
